Wow the batmobile, Ecto1 and BTTF Delorean are awesome. And that Firetruck is stunning. The Edsel is not something I care for but the design is amazing.

It's really a joy to see such work :classic:

Thanks by having shared your creative inspiration with us.

Man, we need some buikding instructions for those, now. They're just beyond awesome.

Especially the ECTO 1 ^^

Hopefully something named after a dog:

Absolutly! :-)

Between the 3 examples you show, one is spot on...

BTW: I´m surprised that nobody guessed on a yellow school-bus. There will be one too, anyway, later... Hehe

Holy Smokes, dude! You are like all inside my head, man. The American 1950's is my favorite era. You capture the lines of those classic cars very well. The '59 Caddy hearse and '58 Plymouth are my absolute favorite cars in real life. I build custom vehicles part-time and those two are the ones I would keep for myself if I ever have the chance. You just made my whole day! thanks, mate. :pir_laugh2:

I am in complete and total love with that Baris Batmobile :wub: :wub:

Also the Plymouth Fury.

I love the Fire truck, but am trying to recognize it? Were you working off a particular prototype?

Edit: Hmmm 1955 Seagrave? I'll have to look that one up. It just feels "tall" for a US Fire Truck. That double deck on the rear half is kind of strange for a US truck, as is the rolled hose. But the 50's were a very weird time in the US Fire service as they transitioned from the prewar trucks to the more modern and boxy ones. There were a lot of oddball experiments.

All time? Probably the classic yellow school bus which has barely changed in three or four generations. After that the classic stainless steel Greyhound buses, and then probably the NYC buses? Maybe?

Most of all I used this picture as inspiration;

But as I said; My model is rather generic...

Thanks for the nice comment!

One word: Amazing!/Wow!/Spectacular!/Wonderful!/Brilliant!/Mind-blowing(That's one word, right?) Anyway, those vehicles you have created are Amazing,Spectacular,Wonderful,Brilliant and Mind-blowing! Great job! I still can't create vehicles so nicely done! You can look at my new MOC and see what I mean......

In conclusion, :thumbup::sweet:

Omega X

I guess I'm late to the party, but let me just say that all those creations are really stunning! That fire truck is my favourite (naturally), followed closely by your take on the iconic VW camper. I just recognized the 50's 60's gas station from your mega moc on flickr, I really loved that one when I first saw it.

Keep it coming, there's so much great inspiration in your mocs. Now I really feel the need to find some time for building again...

14th vehicle finally hits the City-streets;

1956 GMC Scenicruiser "Greyhound Lines". Probably *THE* most iconic american public transport bus of the ´50ies;

Real thing;

Side view;

Some close-ups;

I have to admit that the MOC is slightly WIP, as 14 grey 1x3 curved slopes on the roof will be changed to blue later.

Also -as incredible as it may sound- it is the FIRST TIME EVER that I am using stickers on a MOC.

So, while I was at it preparing these stickers, another MOC also got a little decoration;

Be seeing ya!

Fantastic Ghostbuster vehicle, but that Greyhound coach....is simply BEAUTIFUL and AWESOME - I :wub: it ! :grin:

Please keep these wonderful wheeled creations coming 'Hoexbroe' and Brick On ! :classic:

A great Greyhound bus, but I feel I'm repeating myself, I've already used all the superlatives :)

Hi again!

So, after the Painted Ladies, it´s back to some more car-building.

Vehicle #15 (I think that is the count now) rolls out;

50´ies North-American Schoolbus. (Generic);

dsc05411.jpg

At first I had build the front in all-yellow, but as it looked too modern, it was changed to the -also prototypically correct- black fenders.

In teh packet from BrickLink were also the long-awaited blue arcs for the Scenicruiser, so here´s a photo of the 3 big ones together (All 7-wides);

I just looked through this whole topic and I'm just amazed! I know there are some very smart and creative people out there and I know LEGOs can be used to make any number of things but you my friend are a lego god. I think your models are so amazing they have so much detail and are so beautiful. my favorites are the the grey hound bus, the corvette, the green car at the beginning and the ghostbusters car! I can't believe the detail that you have but in them. I wish LEGO would do a realistic car series. Are any of these on Cuusoo? IF they are you have my vote.

Very very nice work. Im going back to oogle over them again :wub:

Thanks. You are much too kind! (lol)

I have a Citroën DS 20 (´70´es) on CUUSOO. After several months it has the stunning support of 28 votes! ;-)

The problem with my constructions is that they are full of illegal tecniques, and most of them doesnt even roll freely. They are JUST shelf-queens.

Wow, what a great assortment of cars, my favorite being the scaled down 10220, complete with interior. The movie cars are great, too.
