Is it possible to include an image from your coumputer (not from another site on the internet) inside a post without making it an attachment? :sceptic: If so, how? I'm having some trouble entering my MOC for catagory one. Am I going supposed to first upload the images onto something like Flicker? Hopefully not!

Yes. Eurobricks is not an image hosting site. Follow the links in my signature for information on how to deeplink images from other sites.

Are the contestants allowed to vote - and if so, are we allowed to vote for ourselves?

Yes, the contestants are allowed to vote. There is no rule against voting for yourself, though it is generally frowned upon.

Thank you very much for the clarification. ^_^

Is it OK to not do a (or both) side walls for the third catagory? Also, is it alright to do, say, one wall for one picture, and then switch the wall to the other side of the building for the next picture? Basically, does the entire model have to be built at the same time, or may you change it in between pictures? My bricks just arn't the right kind for building walls. . .

Is cutting piecies like this allowed? If I`m not mistaken it`s sometimes asked even in original sets.

No. Only flex tube may be cut.

All photos must show a complete building. As long as we can not see the open side, you should be OK.

Hi guys -

Doing my first ever real posting of my MOC for the Modular Madness contest, category 3. Seems that I cannot post links to my Flickr account? Have some decent photos, finally and would like to share.

Thanks!

Are you haveing problems embeding the photos? You have to get the BBCode under the share tab and copy that. It took me forever to get it straight.

It is tricky, but there are two ways to do it.

1. As Kai said, choose share and copy the code provided. Paste it all in and delete everything except for the url the photo.

2. Once you have the photo you want:

1- Actions > View all sizes

2- Click on the size you want, I usually choose "Medium 800"

3- Right-click on the photot to get its properties

4- Copy the url

The photo's url will be a variation of this: "http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7121/7611697976_fe374550b9_c.jpg"

We're very pleased by both the quantity and the quality of entries for the Modular Madness contest. :sweet:

Just a reminder that the deadline is approaching fast and you have (a little under) 28 hours from the timestamp of this post to post your entry.

The whole Town Staff would really like to thank everyone who has entered. It has been great to see the both the quantity and quality of all entries, and we couldn't have asked for more from you guys. It's too bad we don't have enough prizes for everyone. The contest is now closed. The voting topic will be up shortly. :classic:

Everything looks amazing in the categories, and very inventive as well, on a few MOCs! I tell ya, all these put together makes one heck of a town!

I noticed a lot of people took advantage of the brick-bricks---looks real nice. Hopefully the prices of those come down some more in the future.

Yeah, those bricks are really nice. Wishing I had some more. . . And yes, there is a lot of variety! Hardly any two that look at all alike!

Edit: Sorry if I'm a bit impatient, but when will the voting thread be up? :sceptic:
