timslegos Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Looks good so far. How did you squish the powerpuller wheels? tim Quote
Finntech Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 Looks very promising. I see you have included Terraglide™ and SuperSteer™ (Unimog ball joint?) from the real t8000 serie. Cant't wait to see the finished model! Keep us posted. Quote
1gor Posted May 3, 2012 Author Posted May 3, 2012 Looks good so far. How did you squish the powerpuller wheels? tim Timmy here you can see how it is done http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=498084 at home I have 4 additional power puller tires, but no additional 8X 4750 parts good luck Igor Looks very promising. I see you have included Terraglide™ and SuperSteer™ (Unimog ball joint?) from the real t8000 serie. Cant't wait to see the finished model! Keep us posted. for terraglide I use ball joint from Unimog, but latelly I think about making heavy duty universal joint from other technic parts like those one: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=4185, http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=48496... ...and making rear part 2 studs more narrow than this prototype has. I think you got the picture Igor Quote
dhc6twinotter Posted May 3, 2012 Posted May 3, 2012 This looks really good! I like the design you used on the super steer setup. I had no idea some tractors used steering like that, and it's always nice to learn something new! Quote
TimH Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Nice looking tractor so far, look forward to seeing the finished model. Will you be making any attachments for it? Quote
1gor Posted May 7, 2012 Author Posted May 7, 2012 Nice looking tractor so far, look forward to seeing the finished model. Will you be making any attachments for it? Timmy, my first goal is to make some tractors to the particular class (in this case 300HP class), and then tzo make some attachments that can be used on all modeels from class they represent. Lately I think about making kind oc corn trailer for deere 8270R because of lot of green parts that can not be used in other way Igor Quote

Lately I think about making kind oc corn trailer for deere 8270R because of lot of green parts that can not be used in other way Igor I use this oportunity to inform all of you who are interested in MOC that folder has been renamed to New Holland TG 285. Here is a link. http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=476732 the major reason is that TG 285 has 24F x 6R Transmission (standard 18x4 and additional 6x2 Creeper) which is smaller and shorter than 18X4. So now Supersteer with steering angle of 65 degrees can be implemented as New Holland Unique feature. Kind regards Igor Quote
martinnygaard Posted May 22, 2012 Posted May 22, 2012 (edited) That's the most genious (super)steer i've ever seen! Edited May 22, 2012 by martinnygaard Quote
