JackJonespaw Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Nice review! If only I didn't have to pay so much to get it! Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 (edited) Huw on Brickset has indicated the fig has scratches. Still looks great though, but that's a bummer. Edited May 6, 2012 by johnnyvgoode Quote
Vindicare Posted May 6, 2012 Posted May 6, 2012 Yeah, I saw that too...he did say though that they're hard to see. Although, zoomed in with a camera, they're quite noticeable. I checked mine after reading that and mine looks good. Quote
madoka Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Anybody else notice how they described TC-14: "Build the rarest robot in the LEGO® Star Wars™ universe!" I think the chrome C3P0 has something to say about that. Quote

Sam892 Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 I love this fig and am so happy I got one. The only thing the upsets me is the grey areas. On mine there on the insides of the legs, the top of the legs, the back of the shoulders and the hands. Quote
Jahab Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 Took a day off of work just to snag this. Debated for almost an hour on getting the new X-Wing or the Y-Wing (settled for the former). Someone persuade me to open this and not leave it in the bag. I only have one and only plan on having one. Quote

Someone persuade me to open this and not leave it in the bag. I only have one and only plan on having one. Perhaps a quote from "Home Alone 2" can help? "Kevin McCallister: I understand. I had a nice pair of Rollerblades. I was afraid to wreck them, so I kept them in a box. Do you know what happened? I outgrew them. I never wore them outside. Only in my room a few times. Bird Lady: A persons heart and feelings are very different than skates. Kevin McCallister: Theyre kind of the same thing. If you wont use your heart, who cares if it gets broken? If you just keep it to yourself, maybe itll be like my Rollerblades. When you do decide to try it, it wont be any good. You should take a chance. Got nothing to lose." Don't keep it in its bag if you don't have another one that you can enjoy. Quote
Parrothead Rasmus Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Did this happen to anyone else? The are left of his shoulder has no chrome. Or is that how all chromes figures are? Thanks. Quote
Destroydacre Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Did this happen to anyone else? The are left of his shoulder has no chrome. Or is that how all chromes figures are? Thanks. All of them are like that. The arms are attached to the torso before the chrome is electroplated on so that's where they position the arms during the procedure. Quote

Ackbar Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Got mine today! Such a great little minifig, really happy to have one. The chromed head with the printed eyes is especially stunning. Quote

Shamelsss plug of my review of the Chrome Stormtrooper where I point out the same un-chromed area's Quote

Shamelsss plug of my review of the Chrome Stormtrooper where I point out the same un-chromed area's I think that TC-14 has a poorer chroming procedure though. No chrome stormtroopers were unchromed between their legs, as far as I remember. Quote
