Phoxtane Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 I like that little crawler, I wish I owned those "new" motors so I could try to build it... The original version uses two M-motors Quote

DLuders Posted February 15, 2013 Author Posted February 15, 2013 Isogawa Yoshihito's "Fleet-Footed Insect" spider-like Lego Technic walker is now on Rebrickable. Thanks, Technicmad, for hosting it and thanks to the Japanese master for sharing it! Quote
dustinbahr Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 I realize this is a super old thread, but maybe this will help someone. I found the original design by conv-isogawa and was dissapointed that the link to the instructions no longer worked. Then I found this thread, which was very promising, but for whatever reason none of the shared links worked for me either. After spending time reverse engineering most of the model from watching the videos I realized that amadeup had already done the same and posted slightly modified instructions on Rebrickable. And here is another one. Quote
bruh Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 Wow. It looks hilarious! I really like it. Maybe I’ll adapt it to be control+, since I don’t have pf Quote
gyenesvi Posted October 30, 2024 Posted October 30, 2024 This is genius, once I looked at these kind of walking mechanisms but did not find this really simple implementation, and so cool that it even has a cool shaping / details. Thanks for the instructions! Quote
