Legoism Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 After the racing car posted several months ago, it was about time to build another vehicle - this time on the other end of the spectrum. This one features independent suspension, variable ride height, 4x4x4 drivetrain, 5-speed gearbox (thanks, Sariel) and lockable differentials. Lipko Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 This is pure awesomeness I love the functions and the macho look. Quote
JunkstyleGio Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 This is great: so many functions pressed together in one highly original model! Great job! PS: Do we get another movie about this model driving in it's natural (the great oudoors) habitat? Quote
Jurgen Krooshoop Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 I love all the functions you packed into this car. Quote
DLuders Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Wow! It sure has a lot of great features: Quote
Paul Boratko Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Really nice model with a ton of awesome features... Great Job... Quote
Legoism Posted May 10, 2012 Author Posted May 10, 2012 PS: Do we get another movie about this model driving in it's natural (the great oudoors) habitat? I'll try. When I took it out, for a moment my IQ fell to minus infinity: I drove it directly into a sandpool (overenthusiastically hoping for some Sahara-style rallying), and some sand got into the mechanics and joints. So it will need thorough cleaning and partial dis-/reassembly before the possible second filming attempt... Quote
captainmib Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Very nice functions in a compact car. good job! Does it off road well? or is it a in-house offroader Quote
Legoism Posted May 11, 2012 Author Posted May 11, 2012 Does it off road well? or is it a in-house offroader On firm off-road with differentials locked and raised chassis, yes, quite acceptably. However it's too heavy for sand, unfortunately it buried itself right in. Quote
kieran Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 That is very nicely done, did you create custom UI for you're phone controller or is one of the android apps? Quote
Legoism Posted May 12, 2012 Author Posted May 12, 2012 That is very nicely done, did you create custom UI for you're phone controller or is one of the android apps? No, nothing custom - just a free Android app from the Play/Market - this one. Quote
sama Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 This car is actually really nice. I like the independent adjustable ride height, so smooth! Quote
