Durins Bane Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 (edited) Well, I don't have pics of the Orc Forge! But also not getting what you guys are all on about, it's just a bunch of figures some aren't even the real ones just put together from Other Minifigures. The sets will be out in less then 2 month so buying a fig from e-bay at 3 to 4 times what an actual set will cost is pretty stupid! After all I have already seen most of these sets listed on the Walmart and Target website, so they will be out soon! For the people that want to army build, just how much do you think a uruk will cost. How much is the uruk-hai set? Is it 29.99 or 39.99 or Ive heard 59.99? Edited April 22, 2012 by Durins Bane
Delta 38 Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Hmm. I think we do need some helmets and armour with the White Hand, but that looks... a bit off. The hand's placement looks odd and a bit artificial. If we were getting the White Hand on anything, it'd need to be in various positions and angles. That said, I'm getting used to not seeing the hand. A large army might actually look better without it.
CorneliusMurdock Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 For the people that want to army build, just how much do you think a uruk will cost. How much is the uruk-hai set? Is it 29.99 or 39.99 or Ive heard 59.99? The information released from the toy fairs said that Uruk-hai Army would be 29.99 USD. Orc Forge should be $39.99. If the Orc Forge Uruk is the only one that will have the hand, expect it to be the most expensive one. It still should never be more than the cost of the set. Of course that will depend on the availability of the set. The non-hand one, if that's what will be in the other sets, should be fairly reasonable since there will be multiples in the Army set and Helm's Deep.
Omicron Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 In regards to the White Hand, perhaps a sticker sheet will be available. If not, BrickForge sells White Hand decals. -Omi

However, If I ever wanted to, I'd paint them on myself... unique and in different spots each time... I'm working on a minifig scale Helms deep. Its going to be hugeeee. I think I'll be the first to have done it.

Durins Bane Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 You were saying? Like I said, No one has done a minifig scale version of helms deep.
Kookaburra Bomb Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 A simple google image search would indicate that, Helms Deep has indeed been done, along with Minas Tirith
Legonardo Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 A minifg scale minis tirith has indeed been done, however a minifigure scale helms deep has not. DB That is an impressive project to undertake! are you planning on filling it with 10,000 uruks? You'r going to be buying alot of uruk-hai armies! I myself am planning to eventually creat a minifig scale helms deep Gatehouse

And, I still stand by NO ONE has done a 1:1 scale minifig HD or MT... MT is just tooo massive. Onelug, or whoever's Last march of the Ents might have been, but I'm not sure... Right now I'm determining how to round the walls and slightly curve the deeping wall. I'm either going to use a lot of hinges, or a million 1x2's...

Like I said, No one has done a minifig scale version of helms deep. Great, more people who are "stealing" my plans. Know that you'll have competition. ~ General Magma Edited April 23, 2012 by General Magma
deskp Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 "note: cannot be defeated by a frying pan" Lego website still being updated!
Etmerek Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Wouldn't have much more sense that the White Hand printed in the helmet would´ve been a lego hand? That human hand seems kind of out of place. Still haven't totally convince me

That human hand seems kind of out of place. Still haven't totally convince me That would just look awkward, and this is the White Hand of Saruman we're speaking of. It has to be recognizable. They still use stickers today. Not like it's a body piece. :P -Omi I know, I was referring to stickers on minifigs. Not sure when the last time was that they did that, but I believe they showed up in the more recent football sets from half a decade ago. After that I've never seen them again... Luckily. ~ General Magma

DB That is an impressive project to undertake! are you planning on filling it with 10,000 uruks? You'r going to be buying alot of uruk-hai armies! 2,500 of them, to be exact. At 29.99 per set, the total cost of just the Uruk-Hai would be roughly $75,000. I would suggest: 1. Playing the lottery/gamble-a lot, 2. Creating a scam/stealing someone's (rich) identity, 3. Killing a rich family member (only if you are in their will).
aayla-secura Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Mhm really interesting those Factory leaks.... Anyways here another Pic of Legolas

Sandy Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Hmm, I wonder if that hairpiece is too long for figs with sloped skirts... It kinda looks like it would be. Otherwise I absolutely adore the fig - almost as much as I adore the original Legolas from the films.

But only if you are making a huge person as the skirt is large already .
Lego Otaku Posted April 23, 2012 Posted April 23, 2012 Here's another shot of Frodo also for 24,99 : image snipped Why does that ring remind me of old Clikit series? Anyway could that ring be used for snot to snot connection?

Ehh...if you look closely, it appears that the end of the hair lines up with the bottom of the torso..so..I think it can. -Sci
