Sorry if someone already posted something like this, but the Elrond minifigure has been confirmed: My link

Yeah it's been confirmed like a week ago or something.

Oops... I just haven't been keeping up to date with this topic as there are an endless amount of pages. Anyway, sorry for the late post.

Well, Elrond's already been talked about for like 6 pages now. How about Galadriel?

Galadriel_token_LotR-Video_Game.png

From this crappy screeshot from the LOTR game, we can still see that she will make a stunning minifig with a new female elf hairpiece.

Do you think we will see her in the upcoming Hobbit sets, or the next LOTR wave? Or as an exclusive like Last Alliance Elrond?

LEGO did say (via Twitter) that we will see a female figure in the next wave. I reckon it will be Galadriel, but nothing is confirmed. LEGO wasn't too specific, as it could be the next LOTR wave, or this year's Hobbit wave. :look:

It's not really a new hair piece, jsut the potc hair with some ears on.

I think we'll see a minifig of her before the hobbit/lotr theme is over.

The minifig designers for the game doesen't seem to follow the Elf aestethic lego has started with Legolas, Haldir and Elrond.. Shame.

Which hairpiece do you mean?

And, also, I don't know what that is besides a round plate but I don't think it's supposed to resemble the actual figure when it comes to details like that.

I do hope that they would keep the actual elven aesthetics on at least the actual figures as well, though, but we'll see what comes of this.

There's a chance we may see more of her in the next LOTR trailer in 3 days.

The Elizabeth swan + Samara hairpiece.

The image on the round plate is a direct image from an ingame character model. obviously we dont know if its the final design yet. Lets hope soemthing good comes from gamescom,

Is a new trailer confirmed? (i get thats its about time and a good 'reason

for them to release one)

Simply explained. the distance btween the mouth and eyes are longer on elves than normal human minifigures.

The Galadriel in that image looks like any other female minifig to me.

Its a small distinction but it works well.

*Goes back and looks at Haldir, Elrond, and Legolas* Wow, how did I miss that? Especially since the Elves are my favorite race of Middle-earth!

Atleast it seems that way, if you go and mesure im sure its pretty similar to others, but they certainly got a pureness to their face design.

I've been thinking. Even though Helm's Deep is hilariously disproportionate (Not a bad thing!) I was wondering, according to the proportions that LEGO has set, how many Uruk Hai Army walls would you use to create a semi-accurate length for the deeping wall?

Don't forget all those production videos he made for the fans, though!

I do wonder if they will ever show us the 12-min. reel, however...

I'd use only 2. One to the left of the grate wall, the other to the right.

And then on the second set I'd mix and match Eomer with the generic soldier to end up with 1 Eomer, 1 Rohan horseman and 2 different looking Rohirrim archers.

I've used six, three on one side of the culvert, three on the other side. I think it looks really good, and it gives lots of space for soldiers to stand on guard.

I think from memory I have 5. 3 between the castle & the drain and 2 the other side. I also have another unopened set, but that will probably just go into the sorting containers.

New videogame trailer, it shows galadriel HAS a hairpiece that isnt from potc.

sadly it doesent show any new characthers, and its depiction of the black gate battle is filled with MORIA orcs. God I hope it won't be like that in the final game. My guess would be that the moria orcs were the first ones made in the game because they knew they would release the moria demo first.

That dress should be white, it should have a broche and the neckline bit shouldnt be folded that much. Also the face isn't much like her at all... Galadriel never shows much emotion and has a rather cold expression, That face is not fit for her.

EDIT: Gandalf the white looks good!!

Hair and beard in one piece! The beard is way too long tho, for both sauroman and gandalf the white...

Why do lego always mold way too long beards.. (not counting the ones from the hobbit weve seen so far.)

I want an official Galadriel Minifigure so bad now! Hopefully when (if) LEGO makes one it will at least have a different expression.

My biggers anoyance with her is the lack of the broche. A whole element of her costume taken away

Yeah, I agree with you there... I'm trying really hard to be more concerned about the face so I don't keep thinking about the brioche (or lack thereof)...
