Galadriel looks good. Not extremely spectacular, but good. Flesh in the dekolleté though.

If TLG had the courage they could make 2 Galadriels, 1 in greedy spooky "give me the ring" mode as in the movie.

I think it is perfectly possible to make female elves with the hairpiece used for Haldir and Legolas, but a new one will increase variety. Really great would be a white hood with blond curls coming out!

Yep, I definitely don't want to wait another two months for this! :wub_drool:

Why do lego always mold way too long beards.. (not counting the ones from the hobbit weve seen so far.)

Just because you see it here doesn't mean that's the way the LEGO version will be

Gimli and Blackbeard both got too long beards, so does davy jones depending how u look at it. And Legolas got too long hair.

Either way i hope the white ebard is atleast somewhat shorter than then grey one.. if it is infact one piece with the hair as it looks like.

I want the figures to depict their characters as much as possible, but with Galadriel I wouldn't mind as much. Just seeing that figure makes me drool. I cannot wait for some new releases!

Now to wait and see future leaks.

Well, complaining about the hair length is like complaining about how the mugs are too big or how the elves have disproportionally large ears. I think it's fine.

That Galadriel looks amazing!  Although I do hope she comes with a more "poker face" expression.

Beard length does not worry me at all, and it looks good for Saruman, even if it is too long for Gandalf.

Legolas and Haldir smile in the trailer too, I'm sure her minifigure would follow suit.

Is it confirmed that we will get more LOTR sets, or will all future sets just be about the Hobbit?

All signs point to staggered and intermixed waves, with December 2012/2013 covering Hobbit 1 and Hobbit 2, while Summer 2013 will continue to bring out things from the original trilogy (tower of Orthanc highly likely due to photo evidence). It's going to be a Hobbit focus though for the foreseeable future, given that Summer 2014 is the release of Hobbit 3 and will therefore have sets from The Hobbit 3. After the new trilogy is done, depending on how long the license stretches (I give it 6 months to a year as a safe bet), we'll probably get a third rush of classic sets. So Summer 2013 is likely the first wave we have to look forward to for original trilogy sets.

I've never seen it. The image url says "exclusive fig".

Oh yeah? Where? What's the story?

It has been coming up a bunch of time, it started first on page 387 and you get it when you pre order the game at amazon :classic:

I don't get 387 pages.... An approximate post number would be better, since you can adjust how many posts per page you see.

...just saying. :classic:

Galadriel looks really great! My only concern is that in past LEGO games characters who haven't been made into a minifig yet get designed for the game, but that design is not always how they will look in a proper set. As for Gandalf though, I feel as if that could be more possible since the beard/hair combo piece could easily be used for a Saruman fig as well.

I'd love to see Galadriel and Eowyn made but the others I could take or leave.

I'll be pretty disapointed if Tauriel ends up being the character that gets released first.

Galadriel? WHERE? :) link, plz?:)

There, a picture from the video game. Though, as far as I've understood, there's no warranty that if/when Galadriel appears in a set she'd look anything like that.

I'm betting on Tauriel as the first female LOTR fig, going along with my prediction of Thranduil's stronghold for the biggest set in the first Hobbit wave. Galadriel will most likely come in next year with her big battle scenes coming in the second movie, from my understanding of how they're breaking things up to make it a trilogy. I really don't see them doing an LOTR Lothlorien scene, since nothing much happens there (although I hope I'm wrong, because a Lothlorien tree house would make a brilliant set for AFOLs!)

I think you've missed the Hobbit trailers - if there's a Rivendell set, Galadriel will appear in it.

Hmm something tells me that the upcoming Galadriel minifig is going to be significantly different than this one, here's why:

1. The actual Galadriel minifig probably hasn't been finished yet (still in prototype process?) Or maybe she was designed after the videogame version of her.

2. In LEGO videogames, when they design minifigs that haven't been previously done in real life, they're usually too simple or they just have the most symbolic things of the characters (Their faces are usually the most simple thing, most of the time they don't even look a little bit like the character, only their hair and clothes)

So, probably this game was finished some time ago when they had zero designs for the plastic Galadriel minifig. :sweet:

I hope you guys get my point, hahaha.
