The weta designed Tom Bomdabil is better than the bfme2 one

While the Weta version may look better, the virtual one from BFME2 is way more fun to play as.

I honestly think there's a good chance we will get to play as Tom Bombadil, although I don't think he will have a role in any of the levels.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel that Sméagol shouldn't have been an exclusive; he would have been perfect as a secret unlockable character (like Indiana Jones in Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga).

Yeah, that Smeagol looks great. I don't think we'll see him in a set, but that's something to think about.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel that Sméagol shouldn't have been an exclusive; he would have been perfect as a secret unlockable character (like Indiana Jones in Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga).

I don't think he is an exclusive though. I think deskp is right in saying it's just a cheat code to unlock him early. (Which is good, because DLC is evil when you have a Wii. )

I think that the secret unlockable character will be either young Bilbo or Thorin, just as Lego SW videogame 1 the unlockable secret character was Leia

It's a shame they seem to only use the Moria orcs and the worker orcs.. hope that will change.... But I doubt it.

They could be, lego hp5-7 showed Luna with lionhead in the game, but it was a dlc for playable.
