February 25, 201312 yr The instructions are pretty clear to undestand. My only complaint is there are some pretty bad artifacts (jpeg artifacts?) which can make some pages look a bit blurry. example: Edited February 25, 201312 yr by skyhawk
February 25, 201312 yr Using exact colours on rebrickable, seems I have 99.4% of the parts needed already. Hmmmm, this may be the first non-official design I purchase! EDIT: Just made payment, now going to find the parts! Maybe i'll do a review. If I do then Sheepo be warned, i'm not known for being easily impressed and any review or opinions I make will be just the same as if it were an official set (with the exception that I know you don't have Legos capabilities/recources when it comes to making new parts/instructions), so watch this space! Allanp I would really love to see a review before making the commitment to purchase the instructions. I think that $25 is a reasonable price for them if everything works as advertised with the final model. There are a few features in this model that have me a bit skeptical.
February 25, 201312 yr Well i'm currently finding all the parts. If I have them all (rebrickable says I do but we shall see) then i'll at least say what I think of it but I would like to do a full proper review with pictures, haven't done one before. I expect i'll have it built sometime tomorrow all going well. If anyone would like to PM me their questions, concerns and skepticisms feel free to do so. Edited February 25, 201312 yr by allanp

February 25, 201312 yr OMG! Bang goes the mods on my 9398! Me thinks it's time to start sourcing grey Lego! grum64
February 26, 201312 yr Using exact colours on rebrickable, seems I have 99.4% of the parts needed already. Hmmmm, this may be the first non-official design I purchase! Just watch out that Rebrickable makes no distinction between gray and bluish gray parts. It's not such a problem if your collection consists only of newer parts, but I was caught out the first time when I was comparing a MOC that contained a mixture of gray bricks and liftarms. Roughly half the gray and dark gray parts it found came from my older kits, while the rest came from bluish gray kits.
February 27, 201312 yr like Tim, I am still a student. I would love to buy the instuctions and parts to build this amzing model but it is just too expensive
February 27, 201312 yr Lol, I too am a student, but I just took on a second job besides school, so hopefully next month I will have a little more money to throw around! I have started collecting the needed bricks from bricklink (mainly thin liftarms and connectors), and will buy the instructions once I have 100 % !
February 27, 201312 yr Author Hey, you are very fast!!! It is strange for me to see my model built by other person hahaha I hope you haven't had troubles to build the gearbox,.. Waiting for that review too
February 27, 201312 yr I am in the process of building mine as well. I actually started with the body because I was still waiting on a few parts for the chassis. The bodywork alone is 1600 parts! Here are a couple of new pictures to keep everyone thinking about this wonderful model.
February 27, 201312 yr Hey guys, is there a limit on how many pictures I can post? Should I start a new topic? Hey, you are very fast!!! It is strange for me to see my model built by other person hahaha I hope you haven't had troubles to build the gearbox,.. Waiting for that review too All will be reveiled!
February 27, 201312 yr Best Sheepo, I have seen last weekend Jurgen's version of your 110 at the Lowlug meeting, but has a problem with the gearbox and whe don't have seen it in action. The Landrover 110 looks even more stunning in real and the technic in it are great. I only forgot to take picture's from it next with mine Dakar truck and Jurgen forgot it olso. Whe make a big improvised photo studio at the Lowlug meeting and Legotrucks brings his mobile studio whit him. Logotrucks, Bricksonwheel, NKLE and me make for that change to make photo's from our moc's together. At the time whe make the photo sesion, Jurgen had a ACC contest and whe did not have photo's whit your Landrover with mine Moc. I think it will be looks great next to eachother Mayby next meeting Here are some photo's from me and Legotrucks and the combination between normaal bricks an technic is not look weird. February 27, 201312 yr Hey guys, is there a limit on how many pictures I can post? Should I start a new topic? All will be reveiled! If you're thinking of reviewing the Land-Rover I think you should start a new topic. If you hotlink the pics the number of them shouldn't be a problem Looking forward to a review!
February 27, 201312 yr Hey guys, is there a limit on how many pictures I can post? Should I start a new topic? All will be reveiled! Will the review be up tonightal ready? really looking forward to reading it! When it comes to the car, I can't wait to build it! Already planning to make a superstructure in the style of the British Army's WMIK (Weapons Mount Installation Kit - if memory serves me right) Land Rovers, which really resembles the Geländewagens we used in Afghanistan! Really looking forward to getting the parts, instructions, and some time to myself to build this!!
February 27, 201312 yr In my opinion this MOC has to many parts. You will need a lot of resources (money, or a big technic collection) to be able to build this. It's ofcourse no problem for the builder to build something with a lot of parts, but could it be done with less? I like to build MOC's from time to time that are within a certain reach, like the C-models from Grohl. Ofcourse nobody is forcing anybody to build something, but sharing build instructions is at least saying, "hey man, you might wanna try this"! Well, not going to try this one Just my 2 cents - got this brainwave while watching this thread...
