Martin_B Posted December 29, 2012 Posted December 29, 2012 Excellent work. The spires either side of the main door and the detail on the walls are especially impressive. I really like the look of the first version, but the re-designed one is even better. I've been thinking a lot lately about how to get light grey Castle-type elements built into a 'present day' Town setting, but you've just done a better job than I could've imagined! Well done! Quote
castor-troy Posted January 9, 2013 Author Posted January 9, 2013 a new modular 16 studs (sandgreen) for the historic area... Quote
Captain Settle Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Wow, love the windows. Your city is amazing, and this building fits into it. Quote
Kristel Posted January 9, 2013 Posted January 9, 2013 Nice addition to the historic area! The bay windows look fantastic and I like the trim on the first floor window at the front. Nice parts usage to make the awning above the front door, too. I think the minifigs might get a surprise, though, when they step out the back door! Can you post an updated picture of the historic area with this building in it? Quote
The Dutch Guy Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Another great building there Caster-Troy. The chruch was wonderfull too. Keep them coming my friend Quote
jimmynick Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Your historic area looks great, and so does this bright green house. The glass canopy over the front door looks interesting. I love that you interspersed both brick-bricks and grille bricks to give the building some texture. Excellent MOC, castor-troy! Quote
Man with a hat Posted January 10, 2013 Posted January 10, 2013 Wow, that's...green. But very nice nonetheless. And that glass roof above the door is very clever! Quote

theDeanoRama Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 I really like this historic area, all the buildings are great and I really love that church. Fantastic job, looking forward to seeing more as it evolves. Quote
Bregir Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Well done - well done indeed! I can't wait to see more. Especially the pub. I have taken a liking to pubs.... Erhm... Quote
Lainey Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 I really like the extension to your green house with the little pond and garden. Great big window overlooking it too :D Quote

lightningtiger Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 Oh, I just love that pub.....reminds me of the pub from Muppet's Treasure Island. Keep the cool and AWESOME builds coming 'castor-troy'....Brick On ! Quote
timmyc1983 Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 the church is breathtaking, amazing work. Your whole city looks awesome. :D thanks for sharing!! Quote
wooootles Posted March 7, 2013 Posted March 7, 2013 The pub on the rocks is fantastic. Back details are great too and I like it when the back is given as much detail as the front. Good job! Quote
Bregir Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 Looks like that boat will have an intimate visit with the pub! All Ahead stern!!!! Alarrrrrm! :D Quote
SwissBrick Posted March 10, 2013 Posted March 10, 2013 C'est juste la grande classe... rien à dire! Again, your city gains a new dimension with this historic area, and as for the rest of your town, great job!!! All your buildings are fabulous, they go great together, the town is varied with different atmospheres and yet homogenuous, a lot of details... You tried different styles, you tried different types of builds (i.e boat), and got it all! Thanks for sharing! PS: Ce que "j'adore le moins" c'est les façades arrières des deux bâtiments blanc et bleu, les pointus, mais bon je dis ça, je ferai certainement jamais mieux... Quote
ManInATopHat Posted March 11, 2013 Posted March 11, 2013 Awesome build! The church just blew me away. Brick on! Quote
