The National Geographic Traveler named the ferrycrossing as one of 50 places of a lifetime. The ferry ride is alsowell known as one of the world’s best value-for-money sightseeingtrips. (The “Star Ferry” Company Limited, http://www.starferry...k/company.html) In Hong Kong, Legend Bricks, The Pennisula Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Heritage Project organize an exhibition named, Our Tsim Sha Tsui – Past, PresntAnd Future, showing the historical photos, products, history of the area TsimSha Tsui And our group, Legend Bricks was honoured and invited to contribute in building 2 parts of Tsim Sha Tsui using Lego bricks, the 1970’s and the Present. As Tsim Sha Tsui pier is one of the main building in Tsim Sha Tsui area in 1970s,I am very pleasure in building the Ferry and the Pier! This is the first time I build a ship, in a minifigs scale. May 14, 201212 yr Wow, this is really a great creation, both the harbour and the ferry. You should try to get some more photos using a smaller aperture to get the whole ferry in focus.

May 15, 201212 yr As someone who was in Hong Kong in 2002 and rode on this very ferry, I must congratulate you on your spot-on accuracy! The day I rode it to Kowloon was a blast, and I still have several of the things I bought in Kowloon (a couple Mandarin-style shirts and a Mahjong set). Thanks for bringing some pleasant memories to mind with this MOC.

May 15, 201212 yr Wow I totally love this MOC! I used to visit my grandparents in HK back in the late 90s and I would take the ferry across to Kowloon to get to Ocean Park Mall. But now I just take the MTR to Mong Kok.
