Gijserman Posted May 14, 2012 Posted May 14, 2012 Look what me and my cousins made last weekend: Hope you like it! Please tell me what you think.. Cheers Quote
LauraC Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Bet you had a ton of fun building that! Looks great!! Quote
Rufus Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Very cool! I'm impressed it doesn't fall off! As this is a MOC, I'll move it to Technic (which seems like the most appropriate place for it). Quote
timslegos Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 Looks really fun and awesome! Now you just need some chairs and minifigs . tim Quote
Edwin Korstanje Posted May 15, 2012 Posted May 15, 2012 I have seen it already on Lowlug, but it's still amazing. Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Gotta love the speed the car gathers. Great! I still dream that Lego will someday release an official rollercoaster... Hopefully if they do it'll be as good as this one. Thanks for sharing! Quote
WhiteFang Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Amazing stuff. Love the speed of this rollercoaster of yours. Quote
Gijserman Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 Looks really fun and awesome! Now you just need some chairs and minifigs . tim Thanks! And jep.. still figuring out a way to add minifigs without making the carts too top-heavy. If we figure it out I'll be sure to post it here! Quote
DLuders Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 @ Gijserman: Very nice -- I like how Lego have taken over the entire house! Quote
Gijserman Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 @ Gijserman: Very nice -- I like how Lego have taken over the entire house! He he yes, it's pretty large, but sadly also the reason it had to be taken down! Good thing we had a camera Quote
Burf2000 Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 As someone thats had a go at roller coasters this one is amazing! Brilliant work! Quote
Zerobricks Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Thats really awesome! What a great and productive weekend that was. Quote
Tech Expert ace Posted May 16, 2012 Tech Expert Posted May 16, 2012 That is really cool! I'm curious of how, do you have any close-up pictures of the rails and carriage? Quote
Gijserman Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 That is really cool! I'm curious of how, do you have any close-up pictures of the rails and carriage? I've uploaded one just for you! You should be able to figure it out I guess.. Notice that the curves use different technique than the part going up. It's all about being very creative with old lego train tracks.. So now you know, will you try and make a better one? Quote
timslegos Posted May 16, 2012 Posted May 16, 2012 Wow that works surprisingly well for old train tracks! It must have been a pain to get all the rails exactly right. tim Quote
jadedomg Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 Between this, and the loom and water strider some people have really gotten creative with the sets outside of vehicles. I really love seeing all these different things. Quote

It's all about being very creative with old lego train tracks.. Oh nice, at first sight it seemed like they were bent, now I'm a bit wiser! So now you know, will you try and make a better one? Better? Probarly not, hm, but I think I want to try out just to see it live Quote
