QM Note: Sorry, but you can't decide on another player's item usage unless given a specific permission by the player. The quest will continue tomorrow, since I'll be going out of town for the night, and if DN hasn't showed up then, the battle will continue without his preparations.

The Legonater Posted June 15, 2012 Posted June 15, 2012 So, Boss, any more tactics before we charge in?
Scubacarrot Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 Guts shrugs: "It's probably best if we deal with the guards first, you and the kid handle the guards, I'll deal with the fellow in the armour. Once the guards are defeated, we use the bombs our employer gave us, and I'll throw the potion at the man, see what happens. I have no desire to kill the head of one of the houses, it would not be convenient for us, so keep that in mind."
Sandy Posted June 16, 2012 Author Posted June 16, 2012 The rogues prepare themselves to face the count again. When they return to the Stone Garden, they see the count talking to his guards. Scubacarrot Posted June 16, 2012 Posted June 16, 2012 "I suggest you surrender, it would be awkward if we wipe out your entire guard force, just something to consider..." Guts unsheaths Lifestealer with the loud sound of metal grinding against metal, and points it at the opposing force. "Prepare for battle." The Legonater Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I frown, realizing poisining my whip at this time was probably a bad idea. I attack the Knight with my chain whip, then throw my Holy Handgrenade Bomb at Shadeaux.

It seems light-elemental attacks work especially well on the count. Dyric then scores a critical hit on Count Shadeaux, dealing 68 damage. Since the count is already badly poisoned, the venom in the whip has no effect. Dyric then throws a bomb at the count, dealing 10 more damage. The count loses 10 more health due to the poisoning. The Legonater Posted June 20, 2012 Posted June 20, 2012 Tut tut, Count. Your guards are really lacking something. Tell you what, if you survive this, I can direct you to a very good trainer. We'll talk about the fee later. I attack the Count twice from the front row with my whip.

Dyric also gets a good hit on the count, dealing 68 damage. However, the count counters the attack and pierces Dyric with his rapier, instantly knocking him out.
