Ooc: if Nihilus does not show up, Dak uses a mead and a nostrum, then we go back in battle.

Guts shrugs: "It's probably best if we deal with the guards first, you and the kid handle the guards, I'll deal with the fellow in the armour. Once the guards are defeated, we use the bombs our employer gave us, and I'll throw the potion at the man, see what happens. I have no desire to kill the head of one of the houses, it would not be convenient for us, so keep that in mind."

Guts unsheaths Lifestealer with the loud sound of metal grinding against metal, and points it at the opposing force.

"Prepare for battle."

The old rogue grins behind his headwraps, a sparkle in his eyes the only thing the others could catch for that. Guts beckons the Shadow Knight, and took a stance to attack the orc from the front row.

Guts uses Diluted Potion on Count Shadeaux

Dak vs. Shadow Knight - Hit

Dyric hits the Shadow Knight for 48 damage and poisons the orc. He then attempts a second attack, but misses. Guts throws the diluted potion at the count, and ends up restoring 1 health to him. It seems restorative items do not have a reverse effect on him. Dak also attacks the Shadow Knight for 24 damage. The enemies suffer from the effects of the poisoning.

I frown, realizing poisining my whip at this time was probably a bad idea.

I attack the Knight with my chain whip, then throw my Holy Handgrenade Bomb at Shadeaux.

Guts and Dak throw their holy bombs, taking out the Shadow Knight and causing 10 damage each to the count. It seems light-elemental attacks work especially well on the count. Dyric then scores a critical hit on Count Shadeaux, dealing 68 damage. Since the count is already badly poisoned, the venom in the whip has no effect. Dyric then throws a bomb at the count, dealing 10 more damage. The count loses 10 more health due to the poisoning.

Only one enemy remains, but it is a tough one.
