Hi,

I've just joined up on the forum.

I love Lego!

My wife and I have just had out second daughter, though, so space means that I shall be moving on all of my Lego to help create some space...

I'll hopefully list it all on here, but I have to make 10 posts[?] before I can place a message in that section?

Anyway, here's a 'hello' to all you like-minded Lego fans.

In my brief look around earlier I saw some amazing, beautful things. If only I had a bigger house....

Paul

Welcome at EB Paul, space is always a concern with LEGO isn't it ;) Enjoy your stay! And of course congratulations with your newborn.

Welcome to Eurobricks, and congrats. If you want, you could continue building with LEGO Digital Designer, which takes up much less space, and is not a choking hazard. :sweet:

Hi guys,

Very many thanks for the warm welcomes!

I've been reading through some topics and have to ask some newbie questions which I'm sure have been asked a million times before [sorry].

What does MOC mean?

I used to collect vintage Star Wars toys and MOC means 'mint on card' but I'm sure it's something very different here.

Also, CUUSOO? What does that stand for?

I've just followed the link TimeCruiser to your amazing 15" Lego Logo.

I am quite tempted to make one of those myself and I'm sure that I have enough parts.

I can probably figure it out from your photo but, on the off chance, do you have any more photos of it - it looks so cool!

Paul

Hi Paul

Welcome to Eurobricks, and "Iechydd da" (although you're in S Wales, so Welsh would be a foreign language!!)

MOC = My Own Creation ... so a Lego model you created youself rather than an official Lego kit/set

CUUSOO = an idea-sharing site, with the goal of whenever a submitted-MOC reaches 10,000 votes, it is 'considered' by the Lego team to be turned into a Lego set for retail. Cuusoo comes from Japanese, not sure what it means, but the website is www.cuusoo.com - go there and you'll get the idea!

Anyway - welcome, and Enjoy!

Many thanks for that Andy!

Many thanks for that Andy!

I thought it was so important, I listed it twice.

Either that, or had a slow connection and reposted just in case and then couldn't delete the post ...

CUUSOO roughly translates as "wish."

I have some other pictures, but the one that is best suited to recreating is on Brickshelf.

Once you have posted 10 times, I could send you a list of the pieces needed. Total piece count is 1254, of which the 24 2x2 Corner bricks and 56 2x2 Corner plates are the most likely to be an issue.

Guys,

I'd really like to start a topic in the sales section for help with selling my collection, but the forum won't allow me.

I have made 10 posts which I thought would be enough to let me, but no...

Any help please?

That forum has its own restriction, so you must have 100 posts before being able to start a topic there.

EB User Groups and Tags

You can post in existing topics in that forum though.

Hi TimeCruiser,

Many thanks for the message with the brick list!

Actually, I made my own interpretation of your idea last week.

I made it slightly thicker and added a few base supports - see pic:

You are welcome.

Nice. Is it double sided? Sorry I did not remember to mention this earlier, but when I was building mine, I used a large LEGO bag as a pattern, since it conveniently had the logo the size I wanted.
