Peoples_General Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Just heard from a member from BrickLink chat that about 4 or so Vikings "sets" were packed along with some Kabaya candy, much like they had done with Lego Ninja. These were really small sets, none of which are the ones we know of, and that they are really small much like the Kabaya Lego Ninja sets. Edit: there was no Frost Giant set, apparently the member who reported it mistook the Bionicle of Fafner the Dragon as one of the mythic giants from Norse myth and also thought it was separate. He said this after I showed him the pics to make confirmations. So in all, there are 9 Vikings sets, the 5 "main" sets we know of and the 4 Kabaya candy packed sets. Thats the update so far. Quote
sam89 Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 Sounds interesting. I'm looking forward to seeing pics. Quote
Brickmaster Posted January 22, 2005 Posted January 22, 2005 i wonder what they look like. I hope theres pics soon. Quote

Jipay Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Kabaya is a japanese candy brand which offers small toys with their bububle gums Quote
Orlego Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Kabaya is a japanese candy brand which offers small toys with their bububle gums Thanks for clearing that up Jipay. I also did not know anything about Kabaya. I have never seen this brand here in the US. ;) Quote
Vader Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I too have never seen any but i heard about them a few years ago, if you go to brickset they should list what sets have come out with them. Quote
jonfett Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Here is a link to all the Kabaya Lego - http://www.brickset.com/search.aspx?Query=kabaya These are quite hard to get hold of due to the fact they are sold in Japan, but I was lucky enough to get some of the Star Wars sets off Bricklink. So if you really want to get some of these Kabaya sets when they come out, try Bricklink or ebay as Jipay said. Jon. Quote
ApophisV Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 Erm, there comes something to my mind: Jipay, whan will you order the Star Wars Minis??? :P Quote
Mini Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I might be able to get hold of these if anyone wants them. Quote
ApophisV Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 ME!!! I'd really like to get them if this is possible!!!! :oD Quote
sam89 Posted January 24, 2005 Posted January 24, 2005 I'd like to see what they look like before I would think of buying any |-/ Quote
ApophisV Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Oh, Mini, were you talking about the Viking Kabayas? Or about the Star Wars Minis? Quote
Mini Posted January 25, 2005 Posted January 25, 2005 Oh, Mini, were you talking about the Viking Kabayas? Or about the Star Wars Minis? The Viking Kabayas. The Star Wars ones are discontinued now. I own and operate a store (EllisModels.com) which basically specialises in Japanese Transformers. However, we do stock Kabaya's Transformers product so I assume it wouldn't be any problem to get their LEGO products too. I'll see if I can find any release info and price details. Quote
