Norrington Posted December 10, 2006 Posted December 10, 2006 i think the comb morion looks good with and type of white plume. Quote
Tully Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 There aren't pocket breathing devices nowadays either..... but there is no need to get so frustrated my dear Mr. Scouts. Anyway, back on topic, I am curious to what plumes everyone likes in their hats. Here are the choices; Disregard the color of these samples but feel free to tell us your favorite color whether or not it is in any pirate sets. HEY! Sting said favorite & least favorite MINIFIG. Not feather. And to say my favorite minifigure, It is the Red and White Striped Pirate With Blue Legs. And my least favorite................I don't have one...................Not including the 4+ Pirates. But it's ok! Quote
Evil Willy Posted December 19, 2006 Posted December 19, 2006 Red imperial gaurd. Blue epaulettes. Shako hat. Musket. Thank god for making this. :D Quote
El Bucanero Posted December 20, 2006 Posted December 20, 2006 I forgot my REAL favorite: I've always like nice blends: Ingredients: Get this guys torso, then put this guys head on it and the finishing touch: give him this guys epaullettes. Result: the guy in my avatar. Quote

Mile85 Posted January 11, 2007 Posted January 11, 2007 Imperial Guard Admiral = my favouriteImperial Armada = my least favourite - based on 1600's and a different centuary to that of the first pirate sets. My thoughts exactly! Imperial armada figures are not ugly but I look the big picture and they don't blend in at all *n* And for me big picture is everything. Quote
El Bucanero Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 Imperial Guard Admiral = my favouriteImperial Armada = my least favourite - based on 1600's and a different centuary to that of the first pirate sets. Who sais this pirates lived in a different century?? Quote
Mile85 Posted January 12, 2007 Posted January 12, 2007 well, i might be wrong but it seems to be a bit odd when other soldiers are using breastplates/helmets and other soldiers aren't.. usually when somebody uses a new weapon(or something similar) in war, others are trying to copy it.. that's one reason why I look at it this way. And in my opinion the whole armada theme was useless overall as well, if you can call it a theme, couple of lousy ugly sets. sorry a bit off-topic but i had to say it X-D and sorry if I'm stepping on somebodys toes here, but all of you who like the "armada theme" and are mixing them with older imperial sets are way off.. If the armada era is in the same time as imperial guards they must have been in different locations.. X-O oh my, I just had a huge MOC idea *sweet* Quote
Assamite Posted January 17, 2007 Posted January 17, 2007 My favourite: Just cause it was the first female figure head and an excellent torso. Least Favourite: Cause I must have 15 of his torso, would it have been so hard to make this design in different colours? As for the Plumes, depends on the figure. Though I do like using the little white ones as quills. CM Quote
