Tariq j Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 Not sure. I refrained from buying it thinking that we might have the same problem. The only problem for me was TCW variant of Saesee Tiin. It looked horrible. That is the problem with CW figures these days for some figures they look good for others they don't. Quote
Chills Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 I see, I don't own it but from most reviews I have heard other people complain about that missile launching on the stand too. So if I were to purchase a Naboo Starfighter, the 2011 version would be the best one, right? yeah, I was quite underwhelmed with the set. The N-1 is lacking a lot of detail and the Vulture doid is horrbly designed, especially with the missles. I'd get the 2011 version if I had to do it again. Quote
Phantomscream Posted July 26, 2013 Posted July 26, 2013 EPIII sets, the value for money is something I now consider too good to be true! Highlights including the Anakin's SF and Vulture Droid set for £15...good times. Quote
gryffindorcommonroom Posted July 27, 2013 Posted July 27, 2013 Favorite - Anakin and Sebulba's Podracers (7962) Least favorite - 10143, Death Star 2. I dislike sets with no playability, the other (10188) was amazing. Quote

Captain Settle Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 The worst has got to be the new HH-87 Starhopper. The best for me is the 7264 Imperial Inspection. Though it may not be the biggest, nor best designed, it holds a lot of nostalgic value to me as it was the first decent sized Star Wars set I bought. Quote
Nom Carver Posted August 4, 2013 Posted August 4, 2013 Imperial inspection is indeed the set I always wanted and never got , but hopefully we will get a redesign soon. Quote
Tariq j Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 The battle of Endor has got to be my favourite set: it had lots of playability and great figures. One of my least favourites: the malevolence: this set isn't all bad, I purchased it with high hopes thinking it would be a good set and in some places it is others not, the figures were ok exept for padme. The ship itself was good but the back part where the train carts are could have been used for fighting space for dooku and anakin, a few more battle droids would have also been nice. Quote
narbilu Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 I think the Ewok Village will be my favorite... Quote
Csacsa234 Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 There aren't any SW set that i would say no to If I have to choose my favourite is the 10188 because all of that excellent content Quote
charlieboy Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 6210 Jabba's Sail Barge was always a favourite of mine, I regretted selling it so I've just bought it again! As for least favourite, I'd have to say the earlier sets were a little bit naff but even so I'm struggling to find one that I really don't like. I'll say 7171 Mos Espa PodRace as it came with two of the worst sw figs ever! Quote
Legoman123 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I don't think a topic like this exists, so I am sorry if I created it And it does. I am interested as to what other people's top 10 Star Wars sets ware Quote
Brickdoctor Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 We alreay have a topic for discussion of your favorite and least favorite sets. I know this topic is 'Top 10', but we really don't need more than one topic to discuss these lists of things, and the subject of this topic is a smaller part of the subject of the other topic. I'll merge the topics. Quote

narbilu Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 I really love the combi of: The playability in combination with the minifigs is briljant... Quote
pranas Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Without a doubt my favorite Star Wars set is the Battle of Endor set from 2009. Not only is it a great set (and it still holds up after all these years), I also love it for sentimental reasons. It was a gift from my girlfriend and it was the set that brought me out of my dark ages. Quote

It was a gift from my girlfriend and it was the set that brought me out of my dark ages. That is a fantastic set, and one of my favorites. But the one I like the most in my collection is 10188 Death Star. It has so many great features, a lot of creativity used in building such a large set and including many iconic scenes. It was also a fun build; and it looks amazing displayed with my other sets. Edited September 5, 2013 by Chills Quote
Ritz Brick Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 It appears this topic already exists. http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=7020&st=250 Quote
Tariq j Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Hopefully this topic can be merged, still for me it would be the ewok village or the battle of endor plsysets have always been my thing. Quote

Alfadas Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 (edited) I think clones vs Droidekas is the best, because I like the clone wars better then the OT. Edited September 5, 2013 by jeroenaa Quote
Legofan225 Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 A Thank's l was thinking first of getting one Lego Star Wars battlepack set Quote
Rebel Scum Posted September 5, 2013 Posted September 5, 2013 Hey u guys which battle pack is best the Clones vs Droidekas,Rebels vs Stormtroopers or Sith Troopers vs Republic Troopers ? By the way, the Sith trooper pack isn't OT, it's expanded universe (EU), from The Old Republic game to be exact. The vehicle is kinda lame in that pack but I like having 4 printed minifigures over two brick built droids. Quote
