Set Seal Stickers

I've got the pet shop, the brigade and the emporium sitting in the closet and waiting for some time to build them... I regularly build smaller sets, but the time commitment has forced me to delay.

Anyway, I just noticed that one of the stickers sealing the set was cracked or slashed or something... the others are fine (one corner seems to have multiple sticker seals), but I am hoping the set on the inside is okay... the box is flawless, but I'm just a bit concerned.

Thoughts?

Well if you bought the set to make it rather than for re-sale value then there is nothing to worry about. You have to break the seal to open it anyway to find out if anything is missing or not. If it isn't then fine, if it is then call Customer Service, they can hardly refuse to replace bits just because the seal is broken when you had to break it to find the bits were missing.

You should probably open it up and make sure all the parts are there, some stores the people will steal minifigs out and return it or just leave it on the shelf.

Thanks guys. Just want to build. Don't care about secondary market value... So customer service is good about these things? Also, can I assume that if all the bags are present and unopened, that the set is pristine? Anyone know how many bags in a GE?

Yes, TLG is known for its good customer service.
