Ah, so this must be that Boba Fett game that was rumored. Except that doesn't really look like Boba. Sounds interesting indeed, although anything that's called a "mature Star Wars title" sounds good these days.

I don't think it's Boba, though. The character in the picture looks pretty mature already, and they talk about Coruscant being the capital of the Republic, so...

I think that's just a mistake on the part of the author of the article, since the screenshot shows a Lambda and a pair of TIE/in fighters.

The lighting effects look great. (if that screenshot is a representation of what the game can render in real-time, or maybe I've just been playing a 2D MMO shooter for too long :laugh: )

I don't find myself that excited for this, though; the story doesn't really interest me. I know bounty hunters are supposed to seem badass, and I get the idea of playing a new, original character in an undeveloped portion of the saga so that it seems like you're a part of the canon storyline, but if I'm going to play a Star Wars video game, I want to be able to be the classic hero, grab my lightsaber/blaster/X-wing, and go shoot up some Stormtroopers/TIE fighters.

It's not even about Boba Fett.

I'm super stoked about this game. Gangs, the underworld and futuristic technology usually turn into some of my favorite video games, and throw all this into the Star Wars Universe and it's a match made in heaven. :blush:

I wonder if they'll make any LEGO set tie-ins for this? Hopefully they won't be overpriced like the gorgeous-but-expensive TOR sets...

Oh, crap :grin: I actually noticed the Lambda shuttle, admiring it as I always do. A bit stupid of me :blush:

So, okay. It could be Boba Fett, then. Though I actually hope it's a generic (Mandalorian) bounty hunter. Don't get me wrong, Boba Fett is awesome, but I feel his entire life has been put into canon already (so to speak) and he doesn't seem like the investigative type to solve 'major crimes' anyway...

It sounds like it will be a really cool game. I just hope it will live up to the hype. It is a refreshing type of game. I would love to grab a lightsaber and throw stormtroopers as much as the next guy, but I think this type of game will be very interesting to play.

Peronally, I find those games to be a little overused. Sure, Force Unleashed brought a fresh new perspective on the concept, but there's still a lot of them. I perfer the Star Wars games like Republic Commando and X-Wing.

Did I miss something, I thought it was someones opinion that it is going to be like the force unleashed, I did not see anything in the official release about it.

Meah, nor Clones vs Droids, and no Rebels vs Stormies (by the looks of it), just Bounty Hunter or Pirates or something.

No, It's just someone saying that it's nice to get a Star Wars game that's not about the Jedi for a change.

I'll wait for footage before I make an opinion, but I hope it's like the Chronicles of Riddick game

Does anybody else have a feeling that this may have something with that Star Wars: Underworld TV series that hasn't come out yet. I've heard phrases like "new franchise within Star Wars" I'm suspecting books, TV, games. Kinda like the multimedia projects of Shadows of the Empire, Clone Wars, and Force Unleashed. Anybody else got that feeling?

Why? I thought that it was simply on hold. It would be dissapointing if what you say is true, I would very much like to see it.

I'm sorry but that still looks like a young Boba to me.

It looks vaguely like Mark Hamil to me.

Looks Alright I guess? I'm not a uncharted fan and the combat seems pretty terrible.
