Scorpiox Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 What piece is that attached to King Kahuka's mask for the male High Cleric, Sandy? I love how you've designed that figure, and the male Rogue Thief, especially. Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 The male Rogue Thief is obviously Donny Dozenhands before his involvement into the Wolfgang. Quote

Scorpiox Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 So the Wolfgang commit crimes against the Houses and against fashion. Wh-what? That Rogue Thief clearly has a sense of style and elegance. Isn't it cool to dress like that anymore? Quote
Palathadric Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 The Guardian Knights are especially awesome! Great job, Sandy! Quote
Brickdoctor Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 Please also note the increased bustsize of the female barbarian (aka Shadina Impwrath, the most buxom barbarian in Olegaia ). That's great. Especially when you consider Shadows' first post in the Hall. Quote
UsernameMDM Posted October 11, 2013 Posted October 11, 2013 The Guardian Knights are especially awesome! Great job, Sandy! I concur! I just redid MK Hoke to incorporate a few new elements, but now I need to step up my game for his future classes. Quote
Flipz Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Wh-what? That Rogue Thief clearly has a sense of style and elegance. Isn't it cool to dress like that anymore? Exactly. If that's how Donny USED to dress, and then he switched out for those drab, boring Wolfgang clothes that didn't even have the decency to grant stat bonuses... ...oh gods. I'm turning into Docken. Endgame Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 (edited) So the Wolfgang commit crimes against the Houses and against fashion. Although they do appear to be pioneering in modern furniture, given Ulric's choice of a chair at the end of 66. Love all of the class photos, Sandy - seeing those faces that have lingered since the beginning finally get new representation is amazing! Edited October 12, 2013 by Endgame Quote
Sandy Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 What piece is that attached to King Kahuka's mask for the male High Cleric, Sandy? It's a warrior's crest from the latest line of Ninjago. It also comes in black. Quote

Sandy Posted October 12, 2013 Posted October 12, 2013 Sandy, R.S.V.P. to my earlier comment? Are you asking if I'm going to have Ellaria look like that once she becomes a High Cleric? All I can say is maybe, there might be even better outfits for her once I get her to that stage. Quote
CMP Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 (edited) MARAUDER These swift strikers deal several rapid, precise blows at once to keep enemies at bay. · Additional Health: +10 · Weapons: Marauders use a pair of light, one-handed weapons, such as daggers, longswords, throwing weapons, and whips. It must be specified which weapon is primary and which is secondary. One dual-strike weapon can be used as a 'pair' of weapons, but the dual-strike effect does not apply. · Job Traits: Natural Respite: (See Barbarian), Track Down: (See Assassin/Hunter), Two is Better than One: Marauders receive a 50% discount on the combined cost of each pair of upgrades while upgrading the weapon power of two different weapons at once. · Battle Style: Dexterous – Marauders can target up to two enemies at once to swiftly eliminate. 1. SHIELD: Slice and Dice: The marauder unleashes a whirlwind of vicious strikes with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level. The first target will receive 1-6 attacks from the primary weapon, and the second target 1-6 attacks from the secondary. The marauder can choose to attack one target 2-12 times. The number of attacks are decided by two additional die rolls. (WP: 15 (Primary Weapon) + level 30 = 45 damage per hit, 1-6 hits to first target; WP: 10 (Secondary Weapon) + level 30 = 40 damage per hit, 1-6 hits to second target, or 85 damage per hit, 2-12 hits to single target.) 2. CRITICAL DUAL HIT: The marauder attacks two targets with strength equal to twice their weapon power added to their level. The first target will receive damage from the primary weapon, and the second target from the secondary. The marauder can choose to attack one target twice. ((WP: 15 (Primary Weapon) x 2) + level 30 = 60 damage to first target; (WP: 10 (Secondary Weapon) x 2) + level 30 = 50 damage to second target, or 110 damage to single target.) 3. DUAL HIT: The marauder attacks two targets with strength equal to their weapon power added to their level. The first target will receive damage from the primary weapon, and the second target from the secondary. The marauder can choose to attack one target twice. (WP: 15 (Primary Weapon) + level 30 = 45 damage to first target; WP: 10 (Secondary Weapon) + level 30 = 40 damage to second target, or 85 damage to single target.) 4. RIPOSTE: The marauder deflects the first target’s attack, causing damage equal to its level to the second target. If attacking a single target, the marauder causes the target to deal damage to itself, and it is inflicted with the confused-effect for the duration of three rounds. 5. DUAL DAMAGE: The marauder is struck by both opponent’s attacks. If there is only one opponent, it will attack twice. Both attacks stack before row and defense are taken into account. 6. DUAL SPECIAL DAMAGE: The marauder is struck by both opponent’s special skills. If there is only one opponent, it will use its special skill twice, if applicable. Sound reasonable? It's going to be showing up in my next Quest as an NPC class, but I intend to pitch it as a reward for what's probably going to be the Quest after it. I just want to see what everyone thinks beforehand. I really changed up the Shield. I know it's similar to Mystic Knight/Sylvan Ranger, but unlike them it's not AoE. JimBee Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 I really like it. I still loved Jun's SHIELD skill (damage=difference between two targets' health), but Slice and Dice is cool as well. I could definitely see Hybros taking that route if he ever gets tired of Insta-killing, Quote

Palathadric Posted October 14, 2013 Posted October 14, 2013 It certainly sounds like a fun class. Certainly doesn't fit Pretzel, but having options is always fun. Quote

Do you think Flee would fit better? Wasn't there a dual wielding class a while back? I seem to remember that one was really good. What happened to that one? Only Jun's Tao Warrior class and the past version of Marauder have been dual-wielding, as far as I can recall. Quote
Vash the Stampede Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Do you think Flee would fit better? To me they seem too badass or run from a fight (or something like that). Intimidation is the closing existing job trait I think that could also work, although honestly I think you should probably invent another job trait (cause I like making people work hard). Quote
Scubacarrot Posted October 15, 2013 Posted October 15, 2013 Only Jun's Tao Warrior class and the past version of Marauder have been dual-wielding, as far as I can recall. Right. I was talking about the previous version of the Marauder. I´ll give you the same advice regarding the discount thing, should you want to get this accepted. Instead of this, make the weapon upgrade for the second weapon free, as a percentage on both weapons makes it flat out cheaper to upgrade weapons if you have a lower WP one. Quote
Waterbrick Down Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 (edited) Any opinion on an expert class that could intentionally spend a turn to (focus/gather power/aim/etc...) and if they hit on their subsequent turn they'd do double damage? Also thoughts on a tank class that would utilize the "marking" concept, i.e. class marks an enemy, when said enemy does something, i.e. damages another party member, mark activates and enemy is penalized/damaged/some negative effect/etc. Edited June 4, 2014 by Waterbrick Down Quote

Also thoughts on a tank class that would utilize the "marking" concept, i.e. class marks an enemy, when said enemy does something, i.e. damages another party member, mark activates and enemy is penalized/damaged/some negative effect/etc. Winged Warrior already does that first thing. I don't really get the tank idea. It just sounds kind of a needlessly complex way to deal damage. Quote
JimBee Posted June 4, 2014 Posted June 4, 2014 Yeah, have people forgotten about Winged Warrior? To my knowledge there are only five people in the game who can access the class (two of which are inactive, one of which was the only one I've known to intend to use the class). Again, unlike a lot of expert classes, the invitation to offer access to WW is pretty open. It'd also be cool to see an NPC use that class, similar to how we've seen previews of ECs in recent quests (Marauder, Minstrel, Sylvan Ranger, Artisan, Cannoneer...) Quote
