Matija Grguric Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Here is the series of MOCs I am doing. I decided upon a 32x32 baseplate dimension for every MOC. Here are the ones I did so far: Civilization series - click here for all images! The newest - Chitzen Itza - Kukulcan Greek Temple Japanese Pagoda Miyajima Torri Tibet Moai Great Wall of China Civilization series - click here for all images! Any suggestions on what should I do next? I hope you like those so far. :) I am currently working on Hatshepsut Temple which should be online by tomorrow. Thanks for watching! Quote
Tim_AZ Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Very nice. The Great Wall and Easter Island figures are my favorites. Quote
Rick Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Here is the series of MOCs I am doing. I decided upon a 32x32 baseplate dimension for every MOC. Great series of MOCs. I can't wait to see what you come up with next. Thanks for sharing. I moved this to Special Themes as it's most closely related to the Architecture series. Quote
Watchman Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Inspired, well MOC'd. How about "7 wonders of the Ancient World" next ?! :) Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Very impressive! Looking forward to your future builds As of now I think the Miyajima Torri is my favorite Quote
L@go Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 These are all great, but my favourites are the Great Wall and the Greek temple. Oh, and the work you've done on the roof of that Tibetan building. Looks fantastic! Suggestions: The Stonehenge would be a natural, although admittedly quite easy, inclusion. And maybe, staying on the British isles, Brú na Bóinne? Quote
HawkLord Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Those look amazing. I really like all of them. As for other suggestions, I'd look at Stonehenge (already mentioned) and possible Mt. Rushmore and the Pyramids. Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 I'm a big fan of world cultural landmarks, so I find this very appealing. It's great work too. A Sphynx could be great. Besides, the 7 wonders of the ancient world could make a great addition, as suggested before me. Quote
Matija Grguric Posted June 3, 2012 Author Posted June 3, 2012 Thanks for the comments and suggestions! I guess Stonehedge would be next. It will be a bit plain maybe, but it's more than worthy to be here. ;) Here is a new one! Deir el-Bahari http://www.flickr.com/photos/matijagrguric/7329996408/ Quote
lightningtiger Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 These are just beyond AWESOME 'Matija Grguric', your latest continues to let your skills shine though.....but I'll love to see the Deir el-Bahari in minifig scale ! Keep them coming and Brick On 'Matija' ! Quote
JimBee Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 Actually I think that the Deir el-Bahari is the best of the bunch so far. But nicely done on all of these. Now here's a challenge: do the wonders of the modern world, including the Internet. Quote
WhiteFang Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of your Civilisation MOCs in here! It is very enriching and beneficial to see such rich historic structures and landscape in LEGO building scale. Thank you for sharing! Quote
streifen Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 Your Civiliazation MOCs are just insanely life-like! Considering they are on 32x32 plates, that is really some work you have put in! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted June 4, 2012 Posted June 4, 2012 The Deir el-Bahari is very impressive! I especially like the sloped walkway Congrats on being blogged on TBB Quote
