Hello all, My boys created this Lego Jeep Wrangler, building it to scale and detailing it like our full-size off roader which we run without doors and roof as often as possible.

Their Lego Jeep is 18 inches long, 9 inches tall and built entirely of Lego, with the only exception being the 4inch diameter wheels, as Lego wheels are smaller and less meaty. The full details are in the Lego Cuusoo write-up at http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/17748

Appreciate your support and Vote if you like it. Cheers !

Great Design! I like it

I've just supported the Jeep at CUUSOO -> #179

It's beautiful, but I have strong doubts about what LEGO says on these wheels.

I agree. My kids couldn’t find tires larger enough in Lego sets - the Lego wheels ones we have didn’t give the model a true offroad feel. Here’s my daddy-sized Jeep Wrangler used for inspiration.

cool, in which way did you connected the rc wheels to the lego axles?

Thanks, after trial and error found that the RC wheels clip on to a single brick sized gray technic bushes at the end of the axle shaft.
