Here is the first version. Please read that topic to learn about this project.

The new version is smaller, but in my opinion more accurate than the previous one. I haven't enough grey or brown pieces, and there are no yellow version of brown connector from this model, so these columns are "wooden". There were painted gold, because of Ruler's economy. After hundreds of years, the paint have gone off, that's why some pieces are wooden-brown here!:tongue:

If you can read in russian, here is a link to my MOC on a Russian site Doublebrick. Don't use translators, my Russian texts are always... artistic styled, so Google Translator can only make a funny nonsence out of it in English.))

Nice. Have you thought about using the SNOT technique found on the front of the modular Town Hall for the pillars? I was thinking about bricklinking parts for a 16 pillar MOC for my Roman Centurion minifigs...

Thanks!

I haven't thought about pillars yet, but Town Hall solution seems interesting, though it may be quite expensive for such a small detail... I want to order at last 4 grey columns, though I don't know what to do with them so far. :classic:
