Cara Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) Theres so many they could do, one set wouldn't be enough. I would hope that there could be a farmyard set, a safari set, a forest set etc. And I only want to buy animals I am not interested in them as part of a bigger set. This has been my problem with the forest rangers set - I would LOVE that bear but I'm not buying a set I don't care for for it, and its expensive on bricklink, though that could be what I do. More of the existing cows/goats/chickens/bears would be really useful too if you could buy them without buying construction sets where they are one item amongst many bricks. My top 5 and this is hard: Rabbit Wolf Deer/Stag/Reindeer type - maybe antlers are new bone type mold at detachable Hawk/raven Sheep ...Elephant - yes I know thats #6 but I can't leave it out But a non-friends version hedgehog, turtle, fox, donkey, giraffe and tiger are really appealing too. In fact most animals are! I would want just about any animal they produce Edit: Agreeing with other - fantasy. That centaur should have already been done when HP was out. RoxYourBlox Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 (edited) I'd like to see a safari theme; however, I doubt exclusivity to Duplo has been by accident. Whale Hippo Elephant Gorilla Lemur Edited June 13, 2012 by RoxYourBlox Quote
Piranha Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 My top 5 would be: 1. Lion 2. Giraffe 3. Panda 4. Deer 5. Donkey Quote
GeluNumber1 Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 I'd love to see: 1) a new elephant mold; more realistic. 2) a tiger 3) more snakes and lizards 4) a hammerhead shark and 5) an anaconda mold; larger than a usual snake mold My oh my, how I would enjoy those pieces. Quote
Niku Posted June 12, 2012 Posted June 12, 2012 I think the friends sets could really use a cute panda cub. Those pandas are cut. Now on a more manly opinion we need: Wolf Lion Elephant Hawk Deer Quote
Wrinkledog Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Guess its time for me to chime in My Top 5 (which is strange as some of these I have not made Yet) Deer Kangaroo Giraffe Lion Wolf Quote
Itaria No Shintaku Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Also... a chimp was released with collectible minifigures series in 2011... Quote
lego_legis_legere Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 And what about : 5 a lion (zoo set) 4 a wofl (castle set) 3 a sheep (castle/farm set) 2 a turtle (pirates set) 1 a stork ! (zoo/farm set) [my favorite animal : indeed, I live in a France's region where they are so numerous] Quote
Redhead1982 Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Having a ZOO theme would be fantastic. I prefer the animals to look more realistic (the Friends rabbit is too cute ). My top five would be turtles, deer, sheep, pigeon and lobster (as I'm a townie more or less). Quote
Flare Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Rabbit, Turtle, Donkey, Wolf, & Hawk. 'nuff said Quote
Athos Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 I think an animal rescue / safari there would be a great line. Steve Quote
Lyichir Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 The molds you've designed for new animals are neat, but the printing doesn't look "LEGO-y" enough. The detail is far too fine, which makes them look far less cartoony than comparable LEGO animals. Larger eyes would help, but really all of the printing should be simpler and less fine. As for my most wanted animals... 1: Lion (both male and female variations; the female one could be repainted as other large cats like tigers or panthers) 2: Gorilla (I envision it as a mix between animal molds like the new bear and "megafigures" like the Hulk or the Castle Troll) 3: Deer (ideally one with attachment points for a separate antler piece) 4: New Horse variations (such as a new foal in line with the new poseable horse, or zebras, unicorns; heck, a horse neck to accommodate minifig torsos for making centaurs would be excellent, although that might not belong here) 5: New Elephant (while the old one was good, a new one more in line with newer animals like the dinosaurs from the Dino theme would be excellent) Quote
Writers Blocks Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 1. Hound-style dog with floppy ears. I want my sig fig to have a beagle like mine. The wolf ears don't cut it. 2. Deer/reindeer for forest and holiday MOCs. 3. Birds with wings spread, possibly even posable. I love the printing on the new owls, but they just sit there. 4. Sheep are conspicuously absent from the farm and medieval market. 5. Penguins. Not that the brick-built ones from the Batman line weren't great... Quote
Wineyard Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 1 Elephant, new or old mold 2 Sheep 3 Deer 4 Lion 5 Falcon ... and a centaur mold :) Quote
Ardelon Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 - sheep - deer (/stag/reindeer - probably the same mold in different colors, and maybe different antlers) - bison - wolf - a bird in flight And the obligatory for a zoo and/or safari theme! Quote
DraikNova Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 (edited) My wants: 1: Remade dogs with moving legs, tail and head. Different breeds. 2: Turtle 3: Remade Dragon 4: New birds 5: Remade Crocodile's Edited June 13, 2012 by DraikNova Quote
Tung T. Le Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 1. Panda 2. Tiger 3. Lion 4. Penguin 5. Corgi Dog (Only because I have one ) Quote
Paul Sinasohn Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 1) Lions 2) Tigers 3) sheep 4) deer family 5) elk family 1 & 2 for my circus, 3-5 for my farm/ranch Quote
Tanma Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 1) Crow/Raven 2) Eel (not snake) 3) Kiwi (bird) 4) Iguana 5) Wombat Quote
ImpendingDoom Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 Keep pushing this theme guys. Its only a matter of time. 1. Rhino - Enough said. 2. Sheep - These would be really cute, the goats are wicked so c'mon! 3. Moose / Deer - Antlers detachable and would make NPUs in MOCs. 4. Rabbit - Should be similar to the chicken's size. 5. Wolf / Fox - Different sizes of course. Quote
HumanPackMule Posted June 13, 2012 Posted June 13, 2012 My top five in no particular order 1. Deer 2. Wolf 3. Penguin 4. Mountain lion 5. Squirrel Quote
Ultr6L3g0 Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 I'd like sheep, deer, Bulls,a new head up cobra snake, and Lions. the deer antlers look a little flimsy though. maybe you should make them about one rod thick and shorter. I think an animal rescue / safari there would be a great line. How about a new adventurers theme like that? Quote
Mikeosaurus Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 Really, its a wonder that we haven't already seen a lion or tiger. Orient Expedition was an excellent opportunity to make a tiger, but instead someone at TLC had the bright idea of making a bulky, ugly piece of plastic called a 'tygurah' that was utterly useless for anything outside that theme. But anyway, my top five would be: 1. Lion 2. New elephant 3. Tiger 4. Rhinoceros 5. Moose Quote
Haltiamieli Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 (edited) I'd like sheep, deer, Bulls,a new head up cobra snake, and Lions. Oh! How did I forgot bulls/oxen?! Very important working animals in the Middle Ages. I'm gonna have to retcon them into my list. Sorry boars, you've been displaced. Edited June 14, 2012 by Haltiamieli Quote
Wolfpack Posted June 14, 2012 Posted June 14, 2012 1. Raven 2. Lizard 3. Unicorn 4. Pelican 5. Wolf Quote
