October 28, 201311 yr What do you think, which is the softest 1.9 inch tyre for 8297 rims? I need hard terrain crawler tyres, but as soft, as possible.
October 29, 201311 yr Nobody knows? I think about softer 1.9" tires than RC4WD 1.9" rock crusher XT. Edited October 29, 201311 yr by Mbmc
October 29, 201311 yr Sorry, i have no experience with the crowler tires, i want to test the first set now!
October 30, 201311 yr Efferman: Thanks for the answer. But I think "RC4WD roklox" and "RC4WD 1.9" rock crusher XT" has the same material. Maybe there is no softer 1.9 tire than these (X3 soft & sticky compound)?
October 30, 201311 yr Author i think the rok lox are softer because the tread pattern is not so massive
November 26, 201311 yr Has anyone come across any tyres the same if not taller than power puller tyres that have any grip? I've been searching but to no success.
November 27, 201311 yr I use the GMADE MT-1901 these are not the softest tires but they have really good grip and a good look and fit perfect on the rims. How ever a LEGO crawler is not really a professional car and so the tires are good enough for me. Edited November 27, 201311 yr by Ralf
December 10, 201311 yr Wow, the Axial Ripsaw look also really good, cool tires. How much is the diameter? I think 115mm?
December 11, 201311 yr We should update the first post with a list of Websites and Tires that fit specific rims.
December 18, 201311 yr Hi! I have question about 3rd party wheels. Will http://dx.com/p/1-10...al-4-pcs-225381 fit to lego rims? Sorry for English, im from Poland I just got a set of these but I am not able to test it by now. The rubber compound isn't very soft and is not as grippy as the RC4WD rock crusher. I think quality is a bit lower than the Gmade ones and not close at all to the RC4WD but given the price no complains.
January 14, 201411 yr i'd like to give my contribution. now i have my set of Ansmann tyres. the new site is this one http://www.ansmann-r...startseite.html where you can find OLD part codes (211000224) instead of the new code 552110224 i buy them here http://www.ebay.it/itm/141137894706?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 they fit well with two option, using or not the two channel in lego rims (i'm not using). As you can see in photos the logo is changed from AR to KRT two words about rims: according to bricklink http://www.bricklink...sp?P=44772&in=S , the same 44772 rim is teorically present in both sets 9398 and 42000, but this is not real!!!! on the left 42000 rim, on the right the 9398 one. on the right you can see horizontal lines for support (i don't know how to call, apologize me) i choose the second one.

It is real. Sets produced earlier have 3-hole rims unlike the later sets having 6-hole rims with reinforcements. How do reinforced (6-hole) rims perform, is there any bumping, or uneven roll of the tyre?

How do reinforced (6-hole) rims perform, is there any bumping, or uneven roll of the tyre? i notice now the 3/6 hole difference. :D to my eyes everything works really good. :)
January 15, 201411 yr Author GMade MT 1901 1,9" 105 mm outer diameter 38mm width 48mm inner diameter, fits in the original gap on the rim 16,90€ in germany, 20 US$ in the united states 100_0839 von efferman auf Flickr fits on my planetary rims too 100_0841 von efferman auf Flickr and to a Liebherr 574 in bruder profi scale 100_0843 von efferman auf Flickr
January 16, 201411 yr Here is my choice for the Boss Crawler: RC4WD Tomahawk 1.9" http://www.ebay.fr/i...e-/110954128084 104 mm diameter 36 mm width With a little care, the tires fit perfectly the Lego rims. The reinforcements in the new rims cause no problem at all. I like the look and scale of these tires on the crawler. Of course, they perform much better than the original Lego tires.
January 21, 201411 yr Hi! I was thinking about an order of these wheels, but they seems too cheap to me, and the seller doesn't wrote the company which produced the wheels, maybe they are copy/fake of the Ansmann and RC4WD wheels: http://www.ebay.co.u...984.m1438.l2649 (original: http://store.rc4wd.c...ires_p_691.html ) Or do you suggest to order the wheels from the USA (RC4WD)? How much would be the cheapest shipping for 4 wheels to EU (Hungary)? Should I pay additional charges in case of $30 value, or only the item+shipping price? Is here anybody who ordered from RC4WD store to Europe? I don't know what the shipping will be but i ordered from RC4WD to Sweden and i only payed $10 for it. That is not that bad. My advice is to simply add what you want to buy to the cart and then go to the checkout. The should give you an idea what the final shipping cost will be.

April 22, 201410 yr Hey everyone, I've decided to invest in some of these tires, but I'm stuck between the Rock Crusher XT 1.9s and the Ansmann ones that DreamsKnight posted about... Could you guys reccomend which to get or any better ones for me? I also noticed the rock crushers need to be modified, is this modification easy and safe to do? Thanks! April 23, 201410 yr is there anything for these rims? i really like the proportions of these wheels, it would be great if there's something a little bit more aggressive
