i have not found something in this size. 1,55" tires are most close, but they are to big in inner diameter. they fit better on racing wheel small.

maybe 1:16 modell truck tires fit on the rims. but i think this is not what you search for

is there anything for these rims?

i really like the proportions of these wheels, it would be great if there's something a little bit more aggressive

Effe is right

The closest are Dirt Grabber 1,55. They are about 74-76 mm D. But they are really cool;)

hmmm no i think im gonna buy the sticky ones for the small rims for my next project :P a tiny crawler set on the new 49.5 wheels equipped with two L motors lol

Thank you! Do you use the 3 hole or 6 hole rims?

Right now on display with the six hole rims with white edge. If you go back to the start of this thread you will see dluders explain the tire will be plumped looking on one side. I am happy with the rock crushers they stick very well.

Hi folks,

today arrived my Mil-Spec ZXL 1.9 tires. I mounted them on the racing wheel medium. In comparison to the standard 94.3 Lego tire...

Looks good!!!

Looks nice Pat!

How good are the Axial Ripsaw 1.9 in. tires and where can I get the best price for them? Preferably under $50 for 4 tires.

Hi Guys,

I ordered my 9398 Crawler yesterday :) and I can't wait it to arrive!!

Also ordered the X-Lock Crawling 1.9 Comp Tires.. absolute bargain:

https://store.rc4wd....ires_p_709.html

Seems from so much reading I missed the fact that X-locks have smaller diameter (ordered them at 3,30am after a whole day of reading the forum). From what I red the original ones are 94.8 x 44 R Balloon and the X-locks have just a few millimeters larger diameter - is that ok for better crawling or should I cancel my order and get bigger ones - e,g, Rok Lox with 114.7mm? I guess it is a clearance vs. stability - what do you think? But for the praise of 6,99 for two I should probably keep the order :)

How about putting some weight in the tires to make the crawler more stable??

Do the original tires 54120 have foam inside? They are pretty light so I was wondering if only the balloon form supports the crawler weight.

Very eager to hear your opinions. Thanks very much!!

no, there is no foam inside, the compound is very hard in relation to third party crawler tires

Thanks Efferman!! Then I am glad I bought the soft tires.. only if the diameter was a bit larger.. but that should be fine as well.

I just bought these http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/4PCS-RC-1-10-Rally-Climbing-Rock-Crawler-Wheel-Rim-108-mm-Tyre-Tires-703-7032-/251498817564?pt=AU_Toys_Hobbies_Radio_Controlled_Vehicles&hash=item3a8e7f681c&_uhb=1

sorry my camera is out of action, but they fit perfectly on the Technic Racing Medium and are as tall as the Power puller and have enough grip to climb up a 65 degree slope maybe more with a slower gearbox and theres 4 of them for $20AUD the wonders of china.

And the problem with the rims is solved, too. These are two of those: http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=88517

The tire has a diameter of 160mm and is 40mm wide...

Now, let's see what can be done with tose tires...

Hi everyone, I would love some info/ opinions of these tires : http://www.ebay.com....item43d02e15f3

Thanks in advance,

Dan

This tread pattern is fairly common, I'd say go for it. Personally, I'm addicted to Axial's R35 compound, haven't tried anything outside of their Ripsaws (aside from some Micro-scale tires, which featured the same tread pattern as the tires you're looking at).

I'm intrigued by the rim's, I thought that the 6-hole rims had a ridge thing like the 8043 rims do that prevented 3rd party tires fitting well with out cutting them.

If you do get them please post some pictures for us.
