MajklSpajkl Posted October 20, 2014 Posted October 20, 2014 I bought those on ebay from China for 13,90 USD for 4 pieces, free shipping worldwide. They were the 108mm diameter and zhey fit perfect, but not in the rims channels, if you put them there, they deform a bit... Quote
nerdsforprez Posted October 26, 2014 Posted October 26, 2014 Been using third party tires for a while now. They are pretty awesome. Quote
camaudio Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 (edited) Found these tires. They fit almost perfectly. Just a little tight causing the surface to bow in. Could be solved with some air pressure or foam Edited October 28, 2014 by camaudio Quote

Mikuri Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Wow, those are very nice looking slicks :D I asked not long ago if someone had found some. Where did you get them? :D Quote
VKTechnic Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Been using third party tires for a while now. They are pretty awesome. Which tires are they? They look familiar... Quote
nerdsforprez Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 I can't remember off the top of my head, but I am sure I have the invoice in my inbox somewhere. I will look. Quote
VKTechnic Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) They look like Axial Maxxis Trepador tires: I see these a lot at my local hobby shop, they replaced my favorite Ripsaws with them. Edited November 1, 2014 by Victor Kojenov (TFOL) Quote
Doc_Brown Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Those slicks are slick! These super swampers 1.9" fit really well too. Not sure if they have been mentioned before tho. Quote
Talles Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) Anyone tried 2.2" ? Is the same size of the wheel... 56mm Edited November 1, 2014 by Talles Quote
VKTechnic Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Anyone tried 2.2" ? Is the same size of the wheel... 56mm Theoretically, 2.2s are a better fit (in terms of dimensions), but you have to glue the tires. 1.9 fits with some light stretching, which is perfect for LEGO. Quote
Bevel L Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 (edited) Hi! I have question about 3rd party wheels. Will http://dx.com/p/1-10...al-4-pcs-225381 fit to lego rims? Sorry for English, im from Poland Anybody have them? How they fit? Edited November 1, 2014 by Bevel L Quote
VKTechnic Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Anybody have them? How they fit? Looking at the dimensions, they should be able to fit. Quote
Bevel L Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Looking at the dimensions, they should be able to fit. It's not enough, i need to know for 99% I do not want to buy something that I will not use. Quote
Zerobricks Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Here's an idea guys. What about tyres for the PP rims? Those are wider and should support a bigger tyre? Quote
VKTechnic Posted November 1, 2014 Posted November 1, 2014 Here's an idea guys. What about tyres for the PP rims? Those are wider and should support a bigger tyre? Dluders did some tests earlier, 2.2" tires fit pretty well on those rims: Plumped & Normal Mounting of RC4WD Hollowpoint 2.2 Tires on Lego Power Pullers 22969 Wheels by dluders, on Flickr The only thing is, PP wheels are a little wider than the 2.2" tires, so the tires look better when mounted on the inside of the outer flange (as seen on the right of the above picture).
