Hello, I made this for my 1000th post. :sweet:

---

It all started… with an interview

I came home, tired from my first day back to school from Winter Break. The date… January 5th, 2009. I did my daily Brickset check, and for some reason, I checked a site called Eurobricks. The site was a European site, but I didn’t join it earlier since it said something about being 18 or older. The front page had a news report of the possible return of one of my favorite themes, Harry Potter. It was stated in an interview, but that was in the forum, and you can only view the forum if you were a member. Despite the age warning, I thought I was mature enough, so I joined the site. But, at the time, I was wrong.

Year 1 - 2009

The first major thing I did during my first year on Eurobricks was join the Power Miners contest. Looking back, I know why I didn’t win it.

Another major event occurring during my first year was my first posted topic. It was about baseplates, and complained about them not being in sets anymore.

Finally, I think this occurred at the end of the year in 2009, but my cousin made an account at my place, and I got sent to ‘the chamber’. I’ll say this- that place is scary, but the mods were understanding.

Year 2 - 2010

Probably the biggest year for me in my life with Eurobricks.

Right around the time the year started I got a message… To the user who sent it, I’m extremely sorry for the rude post. I don’t know why I would post something, but I think it was jealousy. It’s kind of ironic since the post was about age, and you are older than me. I was stupid back then. And you taught me a listen about maturity. I really hope we could make up.

In 2010, I made many posts about Toy Story sets. That’s still my favorite theme. Right around March, I post news about Toy Story 3 sets, and one notable news post I made was about the Garbage Truck Getaway set. I had a link to the set on Toys’R’Us.com before an image was posted for it, and then Toys’R’Us.com removed the listing for the set, and later added the image for the set.

During July 2010, I got a message from a (very) nice user who offered to send me the Toy Story polybags from Europe. Not being to educated, I gave him my address. Though nothing bad happened, I eventually told my dad, and he forbidden me from using any forums anytime soon. Thus, I entered my first real dark age…

Year 3 – 2011

Fast forward to November 2011, I went to Toys’R’Us, and had the impulse feeling to buy a new LEGO set- the Dino Ambush Attack. When I came home, I told myself that it’s time to return to good ol’ Eurobricks, and I posted a review of the set there. Additionally, I started posting reviews of MLP:FiM episodes in the Multimedia forum.

During December 2011, I was looking forward to the Super Heroes sets, so a lot of my posts were made there. I even joined the Reviewers Academy by the end of that year. :classic:

Year 4 – 2012

Around mid-January, I started posting videos on my LEGO YouTube channel. Additionally, I joined my first ever community build, which was the Hogwarts one.

March was a major turning point, as I decided to be 100% more active, and made sure I would have at least one post per day. I also made a goal, which was to have 1000 posts by the end of the summer. Surprisingly, the quality of my posts didn’t go down, but instead went up. I used better grammar, spelling, and etiquette.

Today, I consider myself to be very active on Eurobricks. I usually post in reviews, and I try to read the Super Heroes LOTR, Monster Fighters, City, and Friends discussion topics immediately after a new post shows up there.

A big thank you goes out to everyone who have helped and befriended me along the way. Here’s to 1000 more! :sweet:

This was very entertaining to read. I really don't know why. I haven't had that much of a journey so far, since I joined around this time last summer.

I just really enjoy this site, and come on it everyday. I hope to hear more stories like this, as they are very interesting. :classic:
