Brickdoctor Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Looks great, Bob! I was the newb and obvious Cop in Isla Paradisa. Saved by Kartoffel ( ), I went on to create a core group of Townies and we killed ourselves some Scum! Well, except for Tammo. He got his face pecked off by seagulls. If it counts, I was Banananananananananananakin Skywalker in Coming Darkness. I painted a big fat target on my back on Day 1, and by sheer dumb luck and a certain Kartoffel ( ), I got converted to a winning Scum team on the last Day. I was the n00bish sheep Boris in Baritones 3. Mine was the fate that every n00bish sheep deserves. I was another n00bish sheep in Bloodbrick II. Dark times, dark times... I was the last surviving Scum, Black Mask, in Gotham. I had the trust of key Townies, but Kiel and Def pwned the rest of the Scum, and I was lynched by process of elimination. I was Dr. Bethany Bovary in IMHOTEP. Great game, but I sort of slacked off in my Scum game, and through a couple of blunders over PM *cough*Nancy the Psychiatrist Snake*cough*, I got lynched early. I was Emi in Yakuza, and I hit the ground running, but I was paranoid in private, and that got me lynched. I was on the winning team, but that game wasn't team-win. I was C-3PO in Jedi Temple, but the game was balanced in favor of the Scum, and, ignoring my head, I went with my gut heart and trusted Tammo at the worst time. With no Vig, the rest of the Town was methodically mowed down by a Scum killer and an SK working together. [*]Spaces are the little areas between words. [*]2+2=fish
LEGOman273 Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 1. Survived until conclusion, but lost, Sandy's A Bedtime Story Mafia. 2. The three dementions in which all matter and energy exist and are contained. (Also: One-half of space-time; The Final Frontier ) 3. 2+2=22=4
Inconspicuous Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 1) I've played in seven, made it to the conclusion four times, and won twice (Hogwarts and The Forest). 2) The absence of matter; the long narrow bar at the bottom of the keyboard; the final frontier; the unknown. 3) An expression equal to 4. (see also: second derivative of 2x^2) Inky
Shadows Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 Finally! Please answer these questions: 1) Mafia History (of course) 2) What is space (in your own words) 3) What is 2 + 2? 1. [redacted] 2. A vast opportunity for profit! ~ Cave Johnson, President and CEO of Aperture Laboratories, Inc. 3. Two plus two is... ten... in base four. I'M FINE! I think I've played some Mafia somewhere along the line. At least the FBI seem to think so, they're outside my house... It's true, I saw them!
Fred Daniel Yam Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 1) I've played in Cirque du Freak, Witchbreed, and lost in Yakuza and Jedi Temple. 2) Space is the next level of exploration. And a great opportunity of making space hotels to lure rich tourists who pay thousands to look at pitch black space all day. 3) As there is no equals sign, it is merely an equation, an unfinished one at that.
Flipz Posted June 18, 2012 Posted June 18, 2012 1. Two games, both of which i need redemptions for: Lost as Town Doctor Cinderella in Bedtime Story, and as Roron Corobb in Jedi Temple Mafia...well, Brickdoctor put it best: in Jedi Temple, but the game was balanced in favor of the Scum, and, ignoring my head, I went with my gut heart and trusted Tammo at the worst time. With no Vig, the rest of the Town was methodically mowed down by a Scum killer and an SK working together. ^^ What he said. 2. Space is a quantum wavefield manifested as a spatio-temporal fabric that can be manipulated and deformed by various forces such as the mass shadow of planets, stars, black holes, and other massive objects, and which may or may not contain regions wherein the actual speed of light is altered from what we currently know. Proper deformation and manipulation of the fabric of spacetime can allow faster-than-light travel without breaking the "speed of light speed limit" by displacing specific segments of this fabric relative to other sections, thus creating a "bubble" in which the vessel itself is not traveling faster than the speed of light (relative to the spacetime within the bubble), but the bubble itself may or may not be. 3. "2 + 2" is a finite combination of two symbols (in this case, both representing the constant "2" that is well-formed, and, additionally, is a closed formula (since it contains no free variables). This mathematical expression may be simplified to the single constant "4", but in any case its truth cannot be evaluated, as it is not an actual equation. 3. Two plus two is... ten... in base four. I'M FINE! Dang it, I wanted to use that one.
Piratedave84 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 * snip * snip * snip * snip Don't you think it's a little early in the game to bring out your "wall of text" superpower?
Dannylonglegs Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 2. A vast opportunity for profit! ~ Cave Johnson, President and CEO of Aperture Laboratories, Inc. 3. Two plus two is... ten... in base four. I'M FINE! SPAAAACE! I'm in Space. 1. Two games, both of which i need redemptions for: Lost as Town Doctor Cinderella in Bedtime Story, and as Roron Corobb in Jedi Temple Mafia...well, Brickdoctor put it best: Don't kid yourself, You'll be killed off night two. ~Insectoid Aristocrat
Bob Posted June 19, 2012 Author Posted June 19, 2012 Space: The final frontier. These are the voyages of the starship Excalibur. Her five week mission: to explore strange new roles, to seek out the scum and the lazy players, to boldly claim what no townie has claimed before! Fugazi gets all 23 sign ups with that one answer. Congratulations.
Dakar A Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 (edited) 1) Mafia History (of course)- Passed Sandy's Mafia School- A bedtime story. Carefully observed Hinckley's Steampunk Mafia, and periodically checked the Jedi temple mafia. Also, I've played Mafia in real life a few times as well. 2) What is space (in your own words)- Well, when I was younger, I was interesed in the shuttle program, but the fear of exploding on the way to orbit was a bit... discomforting. Space is giant ships, starfighters, rival factions (Blacktron forever!), moonbases, aliens, and of course, huge, honking rocket boosters! 3) What is 2 + 2?- I'm sorry Bob. I'm afraid I can't do that. Flipz Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Don't you think it's a little early in the game to bring out your "wall of text" superpower? It's NEVER too early. Don't kid yourself, You'll be killed off night two. ~Insectoid Aristocrat Damn it!
Waterbrick Down Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Time for my summer mafia fix. 1) Mafia History (of course) My mafia history includes: Hinckley's Mafia School: Fabuland Housewives (Town, Killed on Night 4, Passed), Hinckley's Baritones 3 (Russian Scum, Lynched on Day 3), Rufus and Pandora's IMHOTEP (Town, Killed on Night 3). 2) What is space (in your own words) It's the key between the two 'alt' buttons right. But seriously, space is that which is commonly perceived as the absence of a presence. Therefore outer space for instance, is perceived as such due to there being a vastness of distance/volume wherein there is no occupying body of matter. 3) What is 2 + 2? Technically speaking, 2 + 2 is only a math formula as it is missing an equal sign. Straight forwardly speaking however, 2 + 2 is 4.
Fugazi Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Fugazi gets all 23 sign ups with that one answer. Congratulations. Can't wait to read all my role PMs!
swils Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 (edited) (EB) Mafia History: Cirque Du Freaque, Yakuza, and Jedi Temple. I think I played well enough in CDF, wasn't proud of my Yakuza performance, and my head rolled out of the Temple far too early for me to do much (guess that's what you get when you confide in the godfatherlord of the sith, heh). 2) What is space (in your own words) A vast expanse of resources (and other life, but I'm not concerned with that here). So much to discover, and so very much to be mined out for industrial/development purposes once we discover it "Earth First! (We can mine the other planets later)" is a favorite slogan of mine. 3) What is 2 + 2? Dang it, I'm posting too late to have one of the first witty answers. If I even try, everyone will just shrug, roll their eyes and mutter "Psh, he's trying too hard to be funny like that Shadows guy!" It's five. 2 + 2 = 5. Edit: Double dang it, I wasn't even the first one for "five". Oh well, just more support for that being the true answer, I suppose. (see also: second derivative of 2x^2) Depends what you're taking the derivatives in respect to. Safe to assume Fxx here, but hey, never know. Calc is a cruel mistress. Edited June 19, 2012 by swils
fhomess Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 1) Mafia History (of course) Witchbreed, IMHOTEP, Yakuza, Jedi Temple. I have been a superstar in each one of those, never surviving and winning only once. 2) What is space (in your own words) Reltim guad lack to ferblog oper cher si. (I swear I made those words up myself!) 3) What is 2 + 2? lylo
Darkdragon Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Mafia History: Mafia School: The Witchbreed (Mafia as Dragus, The Pardoner) Won with TownMafia School: Cirque du Freak (Mafia as Mattilda – Bearded lady) Won as Town Cop What is space? The final frontier...oh wait you said my own words. Space is cold, vast, and possibly full of shenanigans in space pubs. It's also a great LEGO theme and fun to make minifigures to populate the space world What is 2 + 2? 100
Scubacarrot Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Looks very cool, would love to be a part of this game:thumbup:. 1. Mafia History Witchbreed Mafia School - played as the (town) doctor and survived to the end (and won). IMHOTEP - Died a virgin, but the campies still won. Yakuza Mafia - Got killed by a ghost as the ninja-grandma/mafia godmother, lost... That sounds like a cool plot for a movie, actually... Jedi Temple Mafia - Played as vanilla townie, the town lost. 2. What is space? Something I lack. 3. What is 2 + 2? I am going to assume this is not a trick question, if it is, it is either a fish, a double date, 22 or something else completely random. But remember: nobody likes trick questions! I also would like to point out Math was not my best subject in school, so if I am doing it horribly wrong, just do what everybody seems to be doing: blame it on the education system. With great caution I therefore say.... 4...?!
CorneliusMurdock Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 I'd sign up but I'll be out of town a lot in the coming month. It looks like a fun game and I'll be sure to follow it from the sidelines. I do want to say to everyone answering question 3: Shame on you guys. Bob is tricking you into doing his math homework for him. Now he'll never learn to do it on his own.
Nightshroud99 Posted June 19, 2012 Posted June 19, 2012 Really cool game Bob, good luck to everyone who is going to play. I don't have time.
Bob Posted June 19, 2012 Author Posted June 19, 2012 Since I don't want to upset anymore people since we've got more than enough players, signups are now closed. This can please get locked.
