Endgame Posted June 24, 2012 Author Posted June 24, 2012 The party, expecting the best but preparing for the worst, goes inside the room. In it they find not an adult, but 2 younglings watching over some Progg eggs. They eggs bob up and down in some sort of natural hot spring, shrinking and expanding as if they're about to hatch. The blue youngling looks over his handiwork. "Aren't I just plain BRILLIANT, little bro? I bet the Death Progg himself is going to congratulate me on finding a way to speed up the Progg hatching process. Who knew the answer all along was just hot water?" "I'm not so sure about tha-" "Wait, hold your tongue for a second. I know you don't have one, it's figurative. We're being watched." Instinctively the small blue progg jumps off the podium he was one and turns around, his younger counterpart doing the same. A look of fear briefly crosses their faces but it is shortly replaced by deviousness. "Oh goody, exterminators. Look, we're just hatchlings. Been out of the egg for 3 weeks in my case, for him: one. Are you really going to stomp us such little innocent animals and our little eggys? i know how much you love your gold, so I can offer you 20 gold to leave us alone. Deal? But bro, we scrounged up more gold then th- Before he could finish his sentence, his older brother gave him a reprimanding tail smack. Let me do the talking here. Quote
Myrddyn Posted June 24, 2012 Posted June 24, 2012 Erik turns to the rest of the party. "If it's all fine with you lot, I want some revenge. These creatures seem particularly vicious - they attacked us on sight last time, and the only reason they haven't done so now is because they don't stand a chance. Besides, we were hired to get rid of all of them. If we want the quest reward, we're going to have to kill these sooner or later. I vote we kill them now, and destroy those eggs before they get the chance to hatch." Quote
