Today sees signage for the IGA and props for the Mitre 10 (maybe a fresh sign for it too).

Question....what should be next the Ford Dealer or the ANZ Bank to next to the supermarket ? :look:

You sure love them stickers.

I'd like to see how you handle bigger buildings, because your small stuff is great. Your interior details(minus the stickers)are always top notch.

Great MOC. The sign on the front of the store looks a bit creased, so you might want to replace it. And to answer your questions, yes I do think a removable roof would be great. It would allow you to open up the store to look inside easier.

Impressive work as always, LT! You got an eye -- or two! -- for detail.

I like the interior of your supermarket, but the way that shelf is, there's no way your minifigs can get anything from it! As silly as it may sound, for Lego designers don't usually care about that, what if you moved the shelf a bit, leaving the back of it to the back of the building (and the front of the shelf facing the front of the supermarket)?

Just my 2 cents, hope that's any help.

Thanks 'Artifex', but which one the cans shelf or the dairy case ? (the cans one a minifig is perfect in scale and the dairy case...well you try shopping and having to reach at the back for the milk ? )

Tonight I might start work on the bank's remodelling....front stays but everything else changes....keep watching !

I assume he meeant that based on the floor plan there is no way figs can walk round to the far shelf as the lower one blocks the way

Great series of MOCs btw! These look like they'd with with the 'Town Plan' style buildings really well :)

Ah, perhaps you are right.....but I must stay with this design so everything fits on to the 48x48 base plates I'm using.

If you look at the last train station Lego released there was no way for the station master to get behind the counter.....same thing here, hence the open backed classic town style is the best in this situation. :classic:

Thanks for the feedback 'dalekcann' ! :classic:

As I said, Lego designers don't usually keep an eye for that. As your MOCs are so incredibly detailed as they are LT, I thought I should throw my 2 cents in. But I see your point too. K-e-e-p-o-n-b-r-i-c-k-i-n-g!

Ah, I see what you mean 'SalvoBrick', the detailed roofs....well sort of..more tiles than anything else and about 8 1x2 double sided stud bricks to hold the roof and ceiling together.

Plus I see the point again 'Artifex' on the gondola, but consider this...what if you must walk down past the counter to enter the supermarket proper to start shopping ?

I was too tired last night to start on the bank, I'll try again later today to get a start on it.

Keep watching. :classic:

Goodness your stuff is absolutely amazing! This gives me some ideas so a mini modular town I can make on my dresser!

Thanks 'The Snake 87' for your kind words....I hope you do build your mini modular town and post it on EB.

I hope for myself tonight to start the bank on a fresh 16x16 plate....but need more money to buy another 48x48 base plate. (Actually three more would do it)

Keep watching ! :classic:

At last Cuusoo has published my mark IV hardware store....hey, us male folk like hardware stores, car parts stores, camping/fishing stores....you get the drift !

Hardware Store (Mark IV)

I spent a half hour last night transferring the bank from base plate and a 16x16 plate plus working out the ATM's new position. The teller sadly loses her chair, but we keep the ATM with it's safe though full of money.

A few hours time I will post fresh pictures of the bank.

Keep watching. :classic:

Bank update, only the roof left and to be fitted to a frame and base plate.

Plans are under way for the police station (a new MOC built police vehicle is on the cards for it  ) and the Ford Dealership too...another heavy redesign on the cards too !

Keep watching ! :classic:

I'm really loving the new bank's interior with the security camera and Atm and vault. The snot on the exterior is also magnificent. Very realistic.:classic:

I can't wait for your next update "LT".

Thanks 'The Blue Brick' and 'Artifex' for your kind words.....and 'Artifex' didn't you see what 'TBB' did....the interior of a bank I posted yesterday.

I'm tossing up starting the Ford Dealership redo or the more simple police station redo.....though I will need to build a police vehicle for it (but what to build ?).

Suggestions are always welcome......keep watching everyone more tomorrow ! :classic:
