Reekardoo Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Hi my name is Reekardoo and I'm new in the MOC lego world. This is my first MOC and I've presented it on CUUSOO ( http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/17865 ) - If you like it please support. But here I was hoping to have also some feedback and thought people might have on this work. I really like it though lacking pieces forced me to make some adjustements - and having to let go of the background forest and stone elements. I'll leave you with some pics Please support - ( http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/17865 ) . Many thanks More pics in or http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/326188 Quote
MikeyB Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Great sculpture of a wolf then I see it opens up. Even better! A unique design as well good job. Quote
turtleman2020 Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 That is insanely awesome. The wolf head is instantly recognizable as a wolf head and its so cool looking. Now I need wolfpack figs. Quote
Vindicare Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 (edited) Awesome! Great looking wolfs head. I like the mouth entrance(reminds me of Aladdin and the Cave of Wonders). The back is cool and reminiscent of classic sets that open up like that. That's a nice chandelier you built. Edited July 1, 2012 by Legocrazy81 Quote
legomonk Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 A base for one of my favorite villains of Lego castle. Very cool. Quote
Captain Settle Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 That's a great MOC. I especially like the archway in the wolves mouth. Quote
Watchman Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 class ! great effort. Very good looking wolf. Love the concept. Well done. Quote
Hive Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 One of the most unique mocs I have seen for a long time, well done. Quote
Reekardoo Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012 Thanks to all for the comments. If I could count with your support on CUUSOO, that'd be great! Thank you! By the way... does anybody know a good way to advertise the project, besides facebook or twitter? Quote
brickie Posted July 1, 2012 Posted July 1, 2012 Great MOC. The wolf is instantly seen; well done. Quote
Slick Willie Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Both awesome and amazing! What does the little winch handle on the left hand side inside control? I couldn't see any operable items inside... Quote
ZCerberus Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Bring back the pack! Bring back the PACK!! I think you linked this creation to my MOCpages for a remake of the wolfpack tower that I did. Though I like the classic look, I feel it needs a little more updating to be compelling, but that is really something for the CUUSOO to work through. Anyhow, the shape and idea are really cool. The wolfpack didn't survive as long as they should have. Quote
Reekardoo Posted July 2, 2012 Author Posted July 2, 2012 Both awesome and amazing! What does the little winch handle on the left hand side inside control? I couldn't see any operable items inside... It was supposed to have a chicken stucked onto the technic beam so you would roast it in the fireplace. No chickens were available for roasting though. Just a little detail for gameplay fun. Nothing too fancy. Quote
tvih Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Cool building! I only have one single Wolfpack soldier from set 6105, but looks like your Wolfies have a good place to call home :) Quote
soccerkid6 Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Well done! The head looks great and the interior is excellent I really like the way it opens up. I supported on Cuusoo, hope you can get 10000 supporters Quote
LauraC Posted July 2, 2012 Posted July 2, 2012 Awesome!! Great to see something so original, and i'd definitely want one if Lego released it! Quote

Bammboso Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 Now we're getting somewhere! Already 145 supporters on Cuusoo! PLEASE SUPPORT! http://lego.cuusoo.com/ideas/view/17865 I'd really like to revive the wolfpack! One advice: You shouldn't be so "loud" about promoting your set. If people like it they will still vote, as you already anounced your Cuusoo participation in your first post No need for further off-topic posts. ON-topic: I think that's an amazing and very creative idea you had there. The wolf is instantly recognizable and a perfect keep for the wolfpack. I also like the way it opens to reveal the inside of the wolf-castle and its splendid chandelier. Great work; looking forward to see more of you soon! Quote
Brinstar Posted July 12, 2012 Posted July 12, 2012 I love this MOC, I'm perhaps biased because I've always loved the wolfpack and they've never really had a large fortress to call home. As has been pointed out the model is very unique, and I simply love the design of the Wolfs head at the front. You certainly deserve praise for your innovation. Whether this will be successful on the roulette wheel of Cuusoo remains to be seen. I for one would love to see the wolfpack return, so I wish you every success with your project. Quote
