What in the world do I have to offer them that even offsets the risk they'd have to take to contact me? I'll give all of your other suspicions merit, but it's humanly impossible for anyone here, scum or not, to be as stupid as to do something like that.

I think a lot of what has needed to be said has already been said, but my strongest conviction is that we hold to Lieutenant McAndrews reasoning and do this by the tried and true way of lynching the most probable/less complicated threat and learning from the result. Thus I'm going to vote: Lieutenant Zachary Jones (Flipz). If Holloway is a neutral cop, do we at least have a second result from last night, if it's a townie then they should obviously remain hidden and if it's a scum then maybe we should have that out in the open.

Jones and given a long story about his supposed role, it fit fairly well except for one thing, it relied on a picture clue as part of it's explanation. Then... DON'T LOOK FOR HINTS IN THE PICTURES, THERE ARE NONE. SCOUTY'S APPEARANCE WAS A JOKE. A LOT OF OTHER PICTURES HAVE JOKES OR EASTER EGGS. THESE ARE NOT CLUES. ...this destroyed that. While it doesn't guarantee that it isn't all true, it certainly casts enough doubt on the whole thing to make a vote the only logical choice, especially since Jones was foolish enough to reveal a real 'power role' while trying to defend his own claim. I've read through the whole day today and wow, Jones you were almost starting to win us over a bit (even me, starting to doubt the accusation, starting to beleive you) but you based your whole plan and lie on a photo? I saw that happening at first with your first long defense and was thinking "there must be more to it, I'm missing something" and kept reading thinking you would actually prove it. But, nope...and then you outted people and pasted PMs in the thread without permission (which you SWORE you would not do). What were you thinking? Are you just tired of this and ready to move on to something else? That's a big slip-up. Though, like I said yesterday - you over-analize things and are often wrong (here on the ship). A casual glance at the discussion would reveal that my roleclaim relied on that joke in the pictures. Did that joke actually mean anything? Of course not, I'm not the redirector. We had a great shot at winning, until you managed to kill Hornby last night. Even with that setback and with Wheeler's case against me, we thought there was still a shot at us pulling this off, but since the Admiral is clearly on the Loyalists' side, it's hopeless for us. I hope you enjoy winning at the expense of fairness and balanced play. Have fun flying around in space with your "impartial" host! My only consolation is that if there is another Scum team, they still have a shot at winning this farce of a game. In fact, let me tell you what I know and suspect: Lieutenant Francis (Shadows) is a Bomb, so don't bother taking him out since he'll only kill your killer; this is a fact, Francis claimed to me last night. Lieutenant Daly (Darkdragon) is most likely the Town blocker, that's why Wheeler trusted her even though she had hidden the "last active at" field on her profile. Walters, Rockford, and Campbell all claimed Vanilla, but you should still be cautious of them. Of course, feel free to disbelieve me. My friends will happily pile up your bodies for you. Who knows; maybe if you ignore my advice I can actually win this with them in spite of our "illustrious" host's interference. Not that it matters either way, since he's broken one of the FUNDAMENTAL rules of Mafia: "A host should not favor any side once play has started." If you're basing your defence on a picture then perhaps you deserve being convicted. So don't blame your fall on me, you were screwed with the townie combo of actions last night anyway. You obviously read through the thread to see that there was discussion going on about clues in the pictures; you HAD to have seen that my Redirector claim relied on that minifigure switch in the pictures. Once you saw that that point of discussion was a key point in someone's role-claim, you should not have touched on the point again at all. You had already made your statement on the subject; if the Town was going to ignore it, that was their business. The ONLY result that could have come out of your clarification was the destruction of my role-claim; there was NO reason to make that statement again EXCEPT to ruin my claim. You should have seen that and backed off; you failed to remain impartial and skewed the game against the Scum. The Town actions aren't what screwed me; take another look at the posts before your little announcement. There was confusion and uncertainty as to whether or not I was Scum. Even if I had been lynched anyway, that confusion and uncertainty would have carried over into the night, giving my team a fighting chance against the Town; your announcement not only sealed my fate, it confirmed my alignment, TOTALLY shifting the balance of power in favor of the Town--not as a result of bad play, but because YOU CONFIRMED MY SCUM ALIGNMENT TO THE TOWN. What it all boils down to is this: there was confusion surrounding my alignment. You clarified that confusion, thus confirming my alignment. YOU STEPPED IN WHEN YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE. That's not right, and it's not fair. It is not your job to reveal publicly when someone is lying; I was lying to the Town when I implied that those photos were evidence of my actions. YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE REVEALED THAT I WAS LYING; LYING IS AN INTRINSIC PART OF BEING A SCUM AND MAKING A FALSE ROLE-CLAIM AND IT IS NOT YOUR JOB AS HOST TO CORRECT THOSE LIES.

What angers me is that I'm being killed through no fault of my own, but because the host decided to destroy my role-claim for no good reason. But you know this already, we've been arguing about it for hours in Basecamp. Oh, and since I don't have to worry about hiding my alignment anymore, I'd better post that notice I've been waiting to post in General Discussion. Writeboard is no longer a viable solution for Scum discussion, since it's been rolled into a paid service; we've tried a few replacements but with really limited success. Scum teams forevermore will be most grateful if a replacement service is found and linked for general use.

I bet you found that picture with yourself in it and decided to accuse the players seated around you! I don't want to comment too much on what you said up there before the Admiral can reply, however, you are not entirely free of fault. The Admiral stated that the Day two pictures were a joke and were not clues. I, for one, would not have believed your role-claim anyway (and I do believe others referenced the Admiral's post on Day Two before the Admiral posted today's clarification.) (As for the writeboard, that's a shame, but there's always the PM system here on EB, so it's not like discussions are hampered by the loss of writeboard)

Does that even make sense? Also, it's against the rules (as if this was some sort of game ) to quote private conversations you've had with the admiral.

It's pretty much a historical fact in these situations that the pictures are intended to be meaningless and often contain jokes or just funny coincidences. It was poor sportsmanship, pure and simple, and I'm inclined to believe that at least some of the reveal is true as I've had my own suspicions already. but there are ways to find out. Indeed.

There was no need to go berserk Lt Jones, as you can see you were already nearly lynched by the time the Fleet Admiral chimed in, and some crew members had yet to review the evidence. Oh, there were a few doubters, but not among the voters. I'm sorry to say that even in doubt we would have lynched you, because proving that you were town would have still provided us with tons of valuable information that overweighted the value of your claimed role. So now we have some time to discuss the 'evidence' you have offered us. It's obviously a pack of lies, but I wouldn't be surprised if there are some truths slipped in as well in an attempt to clear one or two of your pals by reverse psychology. Perhaps the best way to go is to simply disregard your 'revelations' so that we don't become biased either way.

At first I wasn't sure if he was being serious about his claimed scum team or not, but now that the Fleet Admiral has sort of confirmed it I guess that means its true... So what now, the game's over, because of this? I mean, its not like there's much chance for the scum now that he's sort of said everything that we need to know to win... thats a crappy way to end the game for everyone, Flipz

Anyways, I honestly don't think that's your scum team, especially McAndrews, who has been nothing but town in my eyes during this situation. It's possible one or two members were thrown in for WIFOM, but let's not let that drag us down.
