hellopike Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 I did two little scenes, one from the Weapon X program and one from Ironman 2. Yeah, it's just a modified Helli-carrier breakout tank, but as soon as I saw it all I could think was Weapon X.. So I whipped up a custom Wolverine, Professor Thorton and a nurse for the scene. i'm just waiting on some control panel tiles and a few hoses to complete it. Next is that scene from Iron Man 2 where Whiplash slices Tony's race car in half and then fights Iron Man. I was looking at the spring and I thought that it would make a half decent Whiplash weapon so I attempted a purist custom whiplash. Then I built a small race car in two bits, some ashphalt and had him fight Iron Man. everything is 100% unmodified LEGO. I hope you like them ok. Phil Quote
just2good Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Great little MOCs you got there, 'hellopike'. They are very recognizable. Just one question though, is that the Toy Fair Iron Man? If so, you are super lucky. Quote
HawkLord Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Iron Man and Whiplash look great. If the race car was alittle bit more complex, I could see that actually being a Lego set in the $12-20 range. Quote
Ceroknight Posted July 3, 2012 Posted July 3, 2012 Thar Iron man goes for 100s at the moment, why is it not in a safe or something? Love Wolverine's worried face Quote

Love Wolverine's worried face Haha, yeah it's the toyfair Iron Man, but I don't have the other version and who else will fight Whiplash? ;) Edited July 3, 2012 by hellopike Quote
ED-209 Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Aaaahhhh, so it turns out that Loki was really the one behind the creation of Wolverine!! I love the use of the X-ray tile, that's absolutely perfect! The F1 car could stand to be bigger though, an 8-wide perhaps? Quote
TenorPenny Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 I like the latter most, as there is a lot of action there..! But both are great, honestly. Quote
Lightning Dragon Posted July 8, 2012 Posted July 8, 2012 Toy Fair ironman! I have that one Nice MOCs, I especially like the second one. Quote

Oh yeah, but I was just fooling around, I snagged a CITY polybag racer at TRU that day and just built it in two pieces. I have to organize my parts better, they're everywhere right now and I haven't built much big in a long time. I like the latter most, as there is a lot of action there..! But both are great, honestly. Aw thanks. I don't know what i'm going to do next though. i'm having fun making purist versions of other Marvel Heroes and Villains. Toy Fair ironman! I have that one Nice MOCs, I especially like the second one. Yeah, I wish I had the Captain America as well, but I can't complain. Quote
