Vader Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 Some of my latest Works in Progress, any suggestions are welcome as always. First my Admiral Ackbar, ive gone for alot of detail on this fig and feel that alot of work on the neck is still needed along with another coat of paint and some decals on the chest too. Now on to Grevious, this is a fig that ive been playing around with for some time. I hate legos version with a passion so thought i would try my hand at creating something more menacing. Very little lego has been used as you can see and i need to smooth out the molded parts but over all im happy with him so far. *vader* Quote
Starwars4J Posted December 7, 2006 Posted December 7, 2006 I think Ackbar's face need to be a little longer...but...that Grievous X-O *wub* Quote
Loco de Lego Posted December 8, 2006 Posted December 8, 2006 I think the That grievous needs to have longer legs and then that ackbars looks perfect. Quote
Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted December 8, 2006 Eurobricks Emperor Posted December 8, 2006 You're a real artist! The Admiral Ackbar figure looks very good. Quote
Jipay Posted December 9, 2006 Posted December 9, 2006 I like ackbar a lot. Grievious is a little bit on the edge for me as it doesn't look that much "legoish" anymore :-D Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted December 9, 2006 Governor Posted December 9, 2006 You are indeed skillful Lord Vader! That's a very good Ackbar creation, but while the Grievous is splendidly detailed however it looks too ornate to be compatible with LEGO. Very well done, but just too different from other LEGO elements. Unless its not intended for use with LEGO, in which case I'll write no more... Quote
Khorne Posted December 13, 2006 Posted December 13, 2006 The Ackbar fig is really well done. Perhaps you could've made the head seperate from the armor and used a hockey armor, since it would fit better with the color of the torso. The Grievous one is very well executed, but it liks more like something Wallace and Gromit than real LEGO, but still it's way better than anything I would make *y* . Quote
