PROTOTYPES!!!!! Does not mean , every set on that pic will be released . PROTOTYPES!!!!!!

I agree - I was pointing out - POTENTIAL new sets when I showed the picture

Based on Sets we have not seen before

We have seen - Yavin IV, the Medical Droid, Vulture Droid

The only ones not accounted for are - Endor/ or Kashyyyk Set, Trident with Kamino Sub, Naboo Uglyca Vehicle, & the Episode 2 CIS Ship (we need Wat Tambor & San Hill Already!)

(Besides the Alien Conquest unreleased one, the LOR Tower etc - just talking about SW here)

Are there any rumored new UCS sets?? I have been bricklinking the falcon 10179 and its an amazing set!

It is safe to say that lego will highly unlikely make another USC falcon since i see no way that they can improve on it.

Really? An interior would be an improvement. So would an actual cockpit. Lights always help. Don't get me wrong, the Falcon is great, but it could be better. That's not for this thread though I suppose.

As for future UCS sets, I'm thinking the A-Wing can't be too far away. Gotta complete the rebellion's fleet.

When they started the system one big SW UCS one year and two smaller the next year, I would say that they will keep up with the system and next year we can expect one big UCS set (400 EUR/USD one). The only ship I would imagine that remains from the well known ships is the Venator, yet there are many other ships/planet structures that can be made (Mon Calamari cruisers, Medical Frigate, or even Yavin temple/Senate/Jedi temple), etc. I think it is too soon to say and we can only speculate. I don't think Lego itself knows now.

I'm a really big LEGO SW fan and usually give high marks to the sets. I'm not one to be nit-picky and negative about the designs, but I'm not thrilled with the Rancor's Pit.

The minifigures and Rancor look really cool, kudos to Lego for them. But the pit itself is really lacking. It's just 4 columns and a portcullis. It doesn't have the "feel" of the actual pit. Lego could have had so much more here, like walls, the little alcove where Luke hides, and a trap-door for the victims to slide into the pit.

That being said I really like the new Jabba's Palace, will be buying it and will likely be buying Rancor's Pit. I'll just MOC those items Lego should have put in the set in the first place.

Rest assured whatever UCS set we have coming next year it has all ready been designed and is going through the processes.

Errr.... Please know that some of the prototypes in the picture are at least 5 old... Not everything you see will in the end make it to the market

Q: not even the Watto bust?

A: especially not the Watto

I vote we start a campaign to demand that they make the Watto bust the next big UCS release.

According to The BrickShow, Lego has sent them an email confirming that the rancor set will be able to connect to Jabba's Palace.

I know we already knew it would most likely be able to connect, but now we have official confirmation. :classic:

I do still think it will look a bit off with the tower unless you disconnect it. :hmpf_bad:

Indeed. Who knows, they might release a $10-$15 set to go under that part!

The trap door is in 9516 Jabbas Palace...

The guys at "the brick show" show us what it would look like if the palace and put we're together. I think it looks good :classic:

And I think he has the pit face the wrong way, for the tower can stay and the pit door section swung outward and operated on Han's side of the palace.

Man, we really need to see the two sets together. :look:

They REALLY need to figure out what to do with that hanging tower section. It looks real goofy and sloppy with it just hanging onto the end there. I know the two sets aren't both faced the right way but still I really hope they thought that part through!

By the look of it, each pyrimid thingy is the same distance apart, so the Rancor Pit can go in any direction under Jabba's Palace. :classic:

I mean the chute the victims slide down and the round steel grate/door in the wall that opens.

I hope there's a third set to place beneath the tower of Jabba's Palace.

I was thinking the same thing. It could be a cheap $20 set you could use as a fill in. It could come with some extra figs to populate the palace.

Yeah but what does the bottom of the tower set look like? It seemed clear from the bottom of the Jabba Palace that there would be an add-on, but does the bottom of the tower lend itself to the same conclusion?

It's a long shot and I really am guessing here but maybe you all could build your own dungeon below the tower......

Is that some sneaky way of saying the "Add to Jabba's Palace" contest is going to decide what comes underneath the tower?

Hmm! Sounds like a good idea! (  To the mods)
