Thanks for the info. Do you have a link to the info on Rebelscum? (for the Sources section of the first post)

I've updated the first post with the new info.

I'm not entirely sure, but isn't the Republic Assault Striker a SWTOR ship? (If not, then ignore that.)

Either way, why does it say clones? That doesn't really make much sense, as the military in TOR wasn't cloned. :S

I'm hoping that instead of clones, these people meant Republic Troopers. :D

We've been through this, and consensus wad that the Republic Assault Striker probably meant the Star Destroyer from AOTC or the ARC-170 figuter, and yes, the clones in h the SWTOR battle pack are clearly jt an error made by someone not familiar with the game and asuming.

I hope the new visual dictionary won't be the same book as the last one only with a different minifigure and a few extra pages covering the latest releases. :sceptic:

Is it rumoured that there will be one this year?

At the Rebelscum forums, in the list which Bounty put yesterday, it has mention of "4th Lego Video Game".

Again? Would it be Old Republic game...

^ Could be another Clone Wars game covering seasons 3-5.

Is it rumoured that there will be one this year?

Not this year but in 2014. It was mentioned at Lego's panel along with a 4th video game in the works.

The Old Republic Battle Pack (2x sith troopers + 2x clones)

Clone Troopers vs Droidekas Battle Pack (sniper droideka)

A Wing w/ Ackbar, Han and A Wing pilot

I think it was an honest mistake on Bounty's part that he referred the Republic Troopers as "clones" (which are different, their armors just look alike). With that there's still a slight possibility that he mistook the Mon Cal A-Wing Pilot as Ackbar (still hoping for that Mon Cal pilot, though a cheap Ackbar ain't too bad also).

For those who aren't familiar, here's how a sniper droideka looks like:

I'm still not interested in the TOR sets. That the droidekas turned out to be sniper droidekas is a bit disappointing. I find it very hard to think of something that is less needed for army building but a sniper droid. But I still hope that the AT-RT is a PT set; I find it very unlikely that all sets containing clones will be from TCW and none from the PT.

I fully agree. A PT battle pack would very much have interested me - especially if it contained some much sought after Droidekas and some EP II or EP III clones.

It also were nice to get a Sith warrior/acolyte with the TOR BP. Sith fighters were abundant in those times so army building via BPs would not have been an issue with them.

For the time being, the A-Wing seems to be the only interesting news. Be it 'trapped' Ackbar or some nondescript Mon Cal pilot - it's always nice to get more SW aliens. And the Calamarians are a rarity. I have high hopes for Han to have EP VI clothing with the camouflage cloak. A-Wing and Calamarians only appear in this episode. Considering the size of an A-Wing in ratio to the other starfighters, the set might be in the lower price range. At least i hope so. It would be a little stupid to have system A-Wings of different sizes, after all.

I'm with you there, regular droidekas make much more sense as an army-builder considering they're the more common units in the CIS droid army, not some specialized variant (this reminds me of the two unnecessary Orange Power Rangers Clone Bomb Troopers in one BP before ). A better combo would've been a regular droideka + sniper variant, though with their similar builds it might not be too hard to modify the sniper into a regular one.

I have the same qualms with the TOR BP, it would've been much nicer to have a Sith Trooper + Sith Warrior, but TLG missed on the opportunity for that particular army building (Sith Warriors came in multitudes for the Sith side in SWTOR). Or maybe the Sith Warriors would come out in a later TOR set? (wishful thinking)

Hasbro makes a blue AT-RT too.

I hope the lego one will contain 501st legion CT too.

Oh man, that blue AT-RT looks terrible. Why do they come up with these strange colourful things in the CW series? Also I have to agree with the comments about the snipers, I really wouldn't need more than 2 of those. That BP better has 3 clone troopers, otherwise I probably won't be even buying more than one, as the RRP went up to 17€ for these. Too bad about no film clones, once again.

I'm not so negative about the clones. If we'll see phase II troopers, the big question to me is whether or not they will get the helmet right. The ARC trooper helmet wasn't bad, but compared to the stormtrooper helmet, the mold lacked details, and I didn't find the pauldron convincing, too.

Does anyone know if there will be an exclusive at NY Comic Con? I am going so it would be good to know.

Nope, it was actually the episode prior that, which was "Kidnapped".

Back on topic:

If we'll see phase II troopers, the big question to me is whether or not they will get the helmet right.

Based on the comparison below, there are subtle differences between the ARC Trooper and the Phase II helmet (fin, cheek grooves), though I have a feeling TLG could get lazy and just re-use the ARC Trooper helmet with different prints for the Phase II clones, considering they look closely similar. I'm still hoping we would get a 'proper' Phase II helmet, but I find it difficult for TLG to just use the ARC Trooper helmet mold only once.

From what i remember from the movies, neither of these two is a true Phase II helmet, it should look like the ARC Trooper one without the fin.

That's the point. To my opinion, the ARC trooper was praised beyond what I'd think to be appropriate. My fear is that this fact my constitute an incentive for Lego to do only minor changes, or no changes at all: change the fin, change the printing, and enough people may like it.

If you compare these two pictures

you'll recognize that *at least* the mouth pieces are different.

Not really, as Rex has a custom helmet, with a new visor piece.

What actually is rex's helmet? because it looks like a phase 2 but with a phase 1 visor? It's almost like a phase 1.75? :D

Also i was looking at pictures of the exclusive slave 1 thing, and it looks like it has a new cockpit piece, which looks like it could also be used on both the A-Wing and Z-95 :) what do you guys think?
