Masked Builder Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 The price will be $60, we got that from Comic-con.
Spider-Man Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I never knew that was a confirmed price! That actually isn't as bad as I thought it would be

Bilbo Baggins Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 It really makes it sound as we are getting SWII sets.
sealslip3 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 It really makes it sound as we are getting SWII sets. Sure does! I'm very glad to hear about the new Jango Fett, there was no way I was paying $70-$80 for one of those.

Confirmation of Ep 2 sets? I hope so! I Highly doubt that they would reuse the old jango helmet and armor with the new helmet mold availed. Slave I or kamino set possibly?
lightningtiger Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Seems right we should see some AOTC sets as the 3-D version hits cinema screens next year if my memory serves me right.
sealslip3 Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I hope so! I Highly doubt that they would reuse the old jango helmet and armor with the new helmet mold availed. Slave I or kamino set possibly? Agreed, it will probably be the same helmet mold as Boba Fett's. There are all sorts of sets Jango could be in- a Kamino set, Slave I, Geonosian arena, droid factory, or even the speeder chase from the beginning of the movie. One thought I had though- wasn't the third Fan Choice set idea a Slave I with a landing platform? Something like that could easily be revamped into a Slave I/Kamino set, although it may be expensive.

Technically Slave 1 with a landing platform could refer to either AOTC or ESB, and we did get the Palpy's Arrest, so it's quite possible.
wesker Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Didn't we already get the Fan Choice Slave I in 2010?
Brickdoctor Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I'm 90% sure that in that poll, the Slave I with landing platform option specifically stated that it was a Cloud City landing platform.

Yeah I'm fairly certain that this was the picture they used for it: I highly doubt we'll get another Slave 1 anyway, especially considering that the new one's still on shelfs. I know that the recent X-Wing made an exception, but the last one was made in 2006 before the 2012 one. The last Slave 1 we got was in 2010.

That's a good point, but LEGO aren't against releasing the same ship in different colours...sometimes only one wave apart. Well, they've done it with the Jedi Starfighters from the Clone Wars. It doesn't have to be exactly the same build as the last one anywway, obviosuly the colours would be different but I'm sure the action features and whatnot could be different too. After all, there'd be no Han in carbonite to make room for or anything like that. It could include deployable Siesmic charges or a better interior to accomodate a young Boba, too.
Zzz Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 Where I come from, the older Slave I is not available anymore. Still, don't think it will happen that soon. My money would go for an Episode 2 arena playset.
Im a brickmaster. Posted August 8, 2012 Posted August 8, 2012 I would difently buy Jango Fett's Slave 1. The only time they made one was in 2001, and it would be nice to have a new one sence I missed the old one.
The_Chosen_1 Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 My money would go for an Episode 2 arena playset. Now that would be fantastic.
BlueXes Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 Didn't we already get the Fan Choice Slave I in 2010? Yes, we got! If you follow the link, you can see the complette Fan-Choice result. http://www.hothbricks.com/2012/02/9526-palpatines-arrest-kesako/ The Slave I was the second Set, published in 2010. The First Set was "Home One Mon Calamari Starcruiser" 7754. The third "Palpatines Arrest" 9526.

Bobsy Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 In any case, how much would Jango's look differ from that in the Mandalorian Battle Pack? I reckon there's plenty of children out there that just took one of those, plonked it in the 2010 Slave 1 and were done with it.
commanderneyo Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 "Its a CVI reveal this week, not a list of the 2013 sets... yet! Although, I see Clones, Pilots, Astromechs and more Planets early next year" Just spoke with the JediNews owner, this is what he told me. So we won't be getting the list at all this week, but I'll see what he says about if we will get the list after this week...
nrg Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 So next week ... I'm so saad. But its confirmed , we will see more Planet sets !! yeppeee I hope those clones are from AOTC .
commanderneyo Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 So next week ... I'm so saad. But its confirmed , we will see more Planet sets !! yeppeee I hope those clones are from AOTC . On the contrary, it could be anytime for all we know. JediNews themselves still don't have the full list, so it may even be after CVI before we get the list. And I'm hoping for a mix of AOTC Clones & TCW Phase II Clones, though more so the latter for me.
DarthPotato Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 I'm really hoping they're Phase II clones. The Phase I clones are getting harder and harder to get now and The Clone Wars introduced Phase II last season. I'll have my fingers crossed for that. And I'm happy to hear about more planets and astromechs! I had a bad feeling that the planets would stop at Series 2 and then I love to collect all of the astromechs.
jasbury Posted August 9, 2012 Posted August 9, 2012 (edited) In any case, how much would Jango's look differ from that in the Mandalorian Battle Pack? I reckon there's plenty of children out there that just took one of those, plonked it in the 2010 Slave 1 and were done with it. A good point. The helmets are almost identical. All Lego would really have to do is lighten the color of the blue seen on his torso/legs, and give him a different face printing. Well, we can hope for a rumors list next week or around CVI. It's usually in September that we begin to see the really preliminary photos. Fingers crossed! And as far as I know, Lego hasn't created a new phase II clone design yet. The one seen in the battle pack was a phase I-II hybrid. We can probably hope for a mix of phase I and II for 2013. Edited August 9, 2012 by jasbury
