Thanks for all this info Hulk_Smash, did you got to see any pics for The Hobbit sets?

No, all there was for The Hobbit was a page saying there were coming out December, with empty boxes. I have however seen a possible list of Hobbit sets on Brickipedia in The Hobbit article.

Sorry but I only looked at the Star Wars and Super Heroes sets (and the Hobbit, but there was no info on that)

Okay, guys, I'm just as excited for The Hobbit sets as you are, but remember that this is LEGO Star Wars 2013 Pictures and Rumors. If you want to know about other themes, you can post in the appropriate rumors thread in that theme's forum. (or, if you want to continue talking about those other themes with Hulk_Smash and he's not posting in those other theme rumor threads, you can always PM him) Stay on target, please. :classic:

Hey hulk_smash, does it look anything similar to this custom? http://wp.me/p2FbbA-15

Thanks again!

Ummm - first of all look at the innards of a minifigure you will notice that the leg "post" would screw up the arm connections in the picture you posted - it would have to be the taller second torso version - ala Lord Garmadon

or better yet two of those stacked since they are considered "short" doubtful on the logistics of said venture - note that Pong Krell if memory serves me is much taller than anakin

Yup he is pretty much HUGE compared to the clones

Muddy, you should probably leave the politics out of this thread (and clean up your grammar a bit). Just saying.

My only concern with using the Lord Garmadon torso (even though Gen. Krell is a tall character) is that other characters like Chewie are just as tall, but still use the normal torso. I'd hate to see Lego sacrifice that consistency.

What in the blazes are you talking about?

Any how I'm guessing we'll have pics by mid September.

I can't wait until we get to see a finalized Krell, I think he'll look great! And since one of the clones in the Headhunter is a pilot, I'm putting my money on the other one being Phase II Rex. Even if he's not in that set, I'll still get it for sure.

Staying on topic I am glad that they are going to use the new torso for a good figure - He made for an interesting bad guy the type of person you just want to hate.

Muddy, I'm sure that this post is quite rude towards the moderators and regulators. :hmpf_bad:

Anyway, to keep on this topic, is there definitely going to be a General Krell minifig with a new torso or just a rumour so far?

Indeed, i couldn't agree more with you on that!

Hulk_Smash has been fortunate enough to get a sneak peak at a retail catalogue and he mentioned seeing a Krell like figure with the Z-95. I think everything is VERY preliminary at this point, but it's a good bet we'll be getting a Krell minifig.

Clone Troopers versus droidekas? As a battle pack? Why? Who wants a droideka army? They're too strong against two troopers! When we will get some useful battle packs like 7655 and 7654? Those was the best. Old Republic BP? Intresting... Asteroid as a planet? Sound fun, if it uses the same size as the Death Star XD And Krell minifig? My clones will kill him, not just once :D

Please don't argue with staff, and do note the excerpt from the Site Guidelines Brickdoctor has posted. This is your final warning.

Sorry, I didn't thought about PM him  Next time I will :classic: Back on topic, I wouldn't like at all if they used a new torso piece for General Krell since he would look weird, a longer neck should do.

I'm expecting a new mold for Krell's torso, but we won't know for a while. Like Hulk_Smash said, the head was Bossk's, so these images are really preliminary. Pictures usually come in September.

I really hope we get some cool 501st clones! They'd be great for armies!

Im still surprised at the lack of EP-II sets... maybe an EP II exclusive?

I know i'd love a UCS AT-TE!

You are? Based on what? Lego already have a four-armed torso n Lord Gamardon. Why would they spend thousands of dollars moulding a new one when one already exists? Plus, they will already be shelling out for creating the new head mould. I's very unlikely the torso will be new.

If they are well made, I do!

I would prefer a 3 clone to 1 droideka ratio, but I'm not greedy

Smart move on Lego's behalf though. Get alot of people buying this for the clone army building aspect but keep their internal price down by having parts for the droidekas instead of minifigs!
