Ceroknight Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 (edited) Wait, so there will be two clones, one pilot, and Krell? Or just 1 clone, 1 pilot, and Krell? According to the first page, 2 clones 1 clone and a pilot Edited August 28, 2012 by Ceroknight
Clone OPatra Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 According to the first page, 2 clones and a pilot That was from an earlier rumor before Hulk_Smash's details and the Celebration IV confirmation. It's two Clones and Krell. One of the clones could be a pilot; that would be logical.

Brickdoctor Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 That was from an earlier rumor before Hulk_Smash's details and the Celebration IV confirmation. It's two Clones and Krell. One of the clones could be a pilot; that would be logical. Actually that is the updated info. JediNews had three clones, Hulk_Smash had Krell, one clone, and a pilot, and Celebration VI had Krell and two clones, so I just listed the clones with question marks. I changed that. Is it less confusing now?
commanderneyo Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Well, one of the Clones has to be Rex or a generic 501st Trooper. It likely won't be anyone else, and then there's the pilot, as well as Krell.

Is it less confusing now? It is, and it's pretty good news! I feel way less tempted now to buy more than one set to get the clones! I wouldn't conclude from the fact that the AT-RT set comes up with a prelim pic of a TCW Yoda that it'll be a TCW set. Remember that the prelim pics of 9494 came up with TCW minifig pics as well (it makes sense to use the TCW Yoda for the prelim pics because it looks, well, less outdated than the PT Yoda). It turned out though that they were placeholders for new PT figs. Given that it's not very likely that we'll see three TCW sets and no PT set, I think it'll be a PT set. Bilbo Baggins Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 Maybe we'll see AotC and RotS sets in the summer wave, as they're both being released theatrically in 3D next year. http://www.starwars.com/news/episode_ii_and_episode_iii_in_3d.html Now I finally understand why we aren't getting sets of AOTC in this Winter wave, Thanks!!
Sam892 Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 I can see the AT-RT being Episode 3 based, but it seems doutbful with the inclusion of an assassin droid . Hopefully Lego will change this to a Wookie or battle droid.
Super Brick Collector Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 We are due for a new clone pilot. So it would be great if it's the one from the above picture.

Hopefully Lego will change this to a Wookie or battle droid. Including an assassin droid (given Lego means the same assassin droid we mean) is a weird idea, no matter if it's a PT or a TCW set. Anyway, last wave's prelim pics weren't of much value, and the first shots of the box covers appeared around October 15th. Unless Lego doesn't introduce more sets officially, we'll have to wait.
Algernon Posted August 29, 2012 Posted August 29, 2012 (edited) I for one am quite happy with how this wave is sounding. Many of the more attractive sets sound like they will be small and affordable, which is great. I've wanted an A-Wing for years, so I'm thrilled we're finally getting an update! Maybe I'll have to pick up the X-wing and Y-wing now just to have a full Rebel fleet. Edited August 29, 2012 by Algernon
eric729 Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Is it possible that instead of the Tie Bomber, Tie Pilot, and astroids we get slave1 jango fett and astroids? From the scene in AotC? Could the Tie Bomber, Tie Pilot, and astroids be preliminary?

Im a brickmaster. Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Well, thats okay, a mini Tie-Bomber hasent been done yet. And an astriod would be handy for stop-start's!
Oky Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Well, thats okay, a mini Tie-Bomber hasent been done yet. And an astriod would be handy for stop-start's! Yes it would, but sadly it will be an asteroid field, a black ball with many asteroids printed on it, according to rumors. We are due for a new clone pilot. I agree. Any new clone pilot would be welcome, whether it would be those from TCW or simply a Phase I Clone Pilot with an accurate helmet (without a fin). The Coruscant set is the only planet set that sounds interesting out of this series to me, so I hope they wont disappoint.
Sam892 Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 I can't help but wonder what the figure in next years visual dictionary is. I mean they have done all they could with the celebration figures ( Luke, Han and Leia). Maybe Lego will start on the prequels now, maybe a Episode one or two C-3po or a Jango Fett?

Brickdoctor Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Maybe Celebration Chewbacca? /shot He should have gotten a medal too! ;~; It's certainly possible. I remember there was some speculation - I think it was after Celebration Leia was revealed in the Y-wing - that if TLG did another one of those books, they could also include General Dodonna. I personally think that that's a little too obscure to be the exclusive minifig in a book (it's going to end up being one of the main selling points; you want the kids to know who it is), but in keeping with the celebration theme, it's a logical option.

No way Jango Fett would be an exclusive. He's too big a character. C-3PO could be an option though I'd say TPM version has a much bigger chance. Queen Amidala would probably be the best choice for any exclusive though. As a main character she would be a bigger draw over someone like Bail Organa, plus outside the Royal Starship she's unlikely to be included in any more sets. A minifigure of her Parade Gown from the end of TPM would follow the "Ceremony" theme of the previous exclusive figures, although the Senate Gown would also be a good choice as its the most iconic queen outfit after the Throne Room costume. The only other option I can think of is Anakin in his peasant disguise on the Naboo freighter in AOTC.

I mean they have done all they could with the celebration figures ( Luke, Han and Leia). Maybe Lego will start on the prequels now, maybe a Episode one or two C-3po or a Jango Fett? Ghost Anakin? Then, of course, two more books will be coming for Yoda and Obi-Wan
Sam892 Posted August 31, 2012 Posted August 31, 2012 Ghost Anakin? Then, of course, two more books will be coming for Yoda and Obi-Wan They would be a good set of figures, however Lego would have to either reuse the old Yoda head piece ( which is outdated now compared to some of the new highly detailed printed heads), use the Clone Wars version ( which would be terrible) or make a new Mold and use it further down the line. Although I would love Ghost Jedi figures I think Lego would look at the PT at the moment with all the 3D releases and Clone Wars. Thinking about it they could include a Flesh (before getting fried) Darth Sidious or even looking at ghost figures, hologram figures? Maybe a hologram Palpatine or Leia.
Bilbo Baggins Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 It would be great to have a ghost Anakin, specijally if he is made of transparent bricks
Fighter of Frizzies Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Would that be possible? I can't remember Lego doing any transparent mini figures before and if that is correct, is there a reason why?
