Commander Blitz Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I hadn't thought about that, it is a great point TheRedGuy. Yeah, good point, but is Lego really trying to encourage that? Combining Jabba's Place with the Rancor Pit, I mean.
TheRedGuy Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Yeah, good point, but is Lego really trying to encourage that? Combining Jabba's Place with the Rancor Pit, I mean. From what I know, we don't even know if Lego means for us to connect the Rancor pit and Jabba's place together.
Brickdoctor Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Yeah, good point, but is Lego really trying to encourage that? Combining Jabba's Place with the Rancor Pit, I mean. From what I know, we don't even know if Lego means for us to connect the Rancor pit and Jabba's place together. The four 2x2 pyramids on the top of the Pit fit into four 2x2 holes in the bottom of the Palace which serve no structural, functional, aesthetic, or parts-saving purpose for the Palace itself.
Hulk_Smash Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Lego do want them to be combined, I saw them like that is the catalogue.
glenbricker Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I am very excited about those new looking parts on Malakili weapon
commander1 Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I myself do not really care about the palace or the rancor pit. Yes, very shocking!
Hulk_Smash Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I myself do not really care about the palace or the rancor pit. Yes, very shocking! I'm with you on that, I just want the figs,I don't like scenery sets, I much prefer vehicle sets.
Bricktooth Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 I myself do not really care about the palace or the rancor pit. Yes, very shocking! Me too, I probably won't buy either the castle or the pit, so the only interesting part for me is the Rancor itself, which I can get separately online.

Brickdoctor Posted September 19, 2012 Posted September 19, 2012 Yes i know , but the set numbers was wrong Um, no. We've had those numbers since the beginning of the month when we got them from Imperium der Steine. Source links in the first post.

I'd trust Imperium der Steine more as a source, though. They're usually right. You get it? Yes, we posted at the same time. Sorry.
Bilbo Baggins Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 That sith troopers set is the only one that excites me.
Cyberbricker Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 I think I will get all of them except the planet sets... Maybe one ore two planet sets if the mini figs are any good.
TheRedGuy Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Speaking of planet sets, I suggest that they start putting some major characters or they're never going to sell well. There's still atleast 2 rows of each planet sets in my Kmart and no one bothers to even look at them.
Duke of wellington Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Why hasn't TLG released the pictures?
TheRedGuy Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Why hasn't TLG released the pictures? Patience, we're still a month or two away from official pictures.

Same at my Tesco, they still have nearly full stock of Series 1 (bar Sebulba) except for the ones I bought! May still buy next years planets. Just cause. Edited September 20, 2012 by Admiral-Ackbar
Erdbeereis Posted September 20, 2012 Author Posted September 20, 2012 Why hasn't TLG released the pictures? Official pictures often come quite a bit later. In fact, the first pictures we see generally don't come straight from TLG, rather they are leaked somehow. Guys, please stop asking these questions (When are we getting this or that). They tend to clutter up the thread because most of us don't know the answers. Thanks!
Cyberbricker Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Same at my Tesco, they still have nearly full sotck of Series 1 (bar Sebulba) except for the ones I bought! May still buy next years planets. Just cause. Same story in every shop in my area. If they could just get some nice mini-figures in those planet sets it would make them mush more valuable for collectors. I only buy some of them to replace my old mini-figures with the yellow head. Still I'm tempted to buy the other ones too, since I have almost every Lego Star Wars sets ever released... It only cost allot of money.
SuperLEGOkid Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 Hello Everybody A new SW special is comming to Cartoon Network. The name is Lego SW The Empire Strikes Out. Admiral-Ackbar Posted September 20, 2012 Posted September 20, 2012 totally agree, there have definitely been some major opportunity's for great figs that TLG let slip through their fingers like say the kamino set. I also agree with this. Most of the planets this year were forgivable or already suitable since they were just starting it out, but they should know what will sell and what will not by now, exclusive minifigures with good planets sell, the rest dont.
