wesker Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 The new Yoda looks awesome. I just hope if they use rubber for the head again its the stronger type they've been using lately (Amidala's headpiece for example) and not the soft eraser kind on the last figure where the printing always scratches off. The sail barge is a must buy for me. Hoth as well, I've never managed to get a snowspeeder before. And any set with a new Yoda I'd buy (The CW Yoda is too cartoony for me and the version before that was just too sparse on details). I'm hoping in AOTC sets we at least get the main characters from the movie. I have no minifigures from that movie and reallly am lacking that in my collection (I have my SW minifigs lined up by movie and have a depressing empty slot there. I hope we get at least one Padme next year. Out of all the characters in the star wars universe she has probably the most variations and yet appears rarely in Lego form (Which disappoints me). I'm sure we'll see her. Lego seems to be making more effort lately to have all the main heroes available each year.
Infernum Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Hmmm... Interesting. I'm exited for a new At-TE and Gunship, but dissapointed that there aren't any Old Republic sets. I would rather have more OR sets than remakes. I need pictures to tell if I like the sets though.
Another Brick In The Wall Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 75020 Jabba's Sailbarge The leaked info about it being downgraded compared to its original release has me a bit worried, but at least we have an updated Slave Leia and potentially Max Rebo and Ree Yees to look forward too. Yak Face and a Weequay would be pretty sweet too. What is the leaked info and what is the source? Given the effort TLG went to upgrading Jabba's Palace and the amazing looking Rancor set, it wouldn't make much sense to go "halfway" on the Sail Barge. I sincerely hope it's considerably better than 6210. Otherwise I may be tempted to take a stab at the 7K piece version some Eurobricker designed (and I say this half serious).

Back a few pages before the full set list was revealed; http://www.eurobrick...00#entry1451616 Just read on a swedish lego-forum that someone had a sneak peak i the retail catalogue for 2013 (release June?) and found this: - Jabba sailbarge, 5-6 minifigs, at least jabba and a blue figure. The construction seemed narrower, less round and "a lot uglier" than 6210. -AT-TE, 4-5 minifigs - Republic gunship, 4-5 minifigs Anyone else heard anything about this? A new sailbarge sounds promising but I rather would had a moss eisley bar scene or an ewok village! link for them how can understand Swedish! http://www.swebrick....p?topic=3840.30

Cyberbricker Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 (edited) On brickpedia there is an other set listed: 75018 JEK-14’s Stealth Starfighter Edited December 9, 2012 by Cyberbricker
nrg Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I guess JEK-14 is a droid , probably from The Yoda Chronicles.
Another Brick In The Wall Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Back a few pages before the full set list was revealed; http://www.eurobrick...00#entry1451616 That's not good. I still think this may be an 1000+ piece set. My reasoning is as follows: Old Jabba Sail Barge was 781 pieces but included Desert Skiff (53 pieces) plus Sarlacc (~20 pieces) so the net piece count was around 700 pieces New Desert Skiff + Sarlacc is considerably larger 213, which should put the Sail Barge at least 1000 pieces. Does anybody agree with my math?

jasbury Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I guess JEK-14 is a droid , probably from The Yoda Chronicles. Very interesting. I'm guessing you're correct. Nothing came up when I searched wookieepedia for JEK-14. Hope this is a cool shop, but I won't buy it unless it fits in with existing canon.
North Lego Star Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 75015 Corporate Alliance Tank Droid 75016 Homing Spider Droid 75017 Duel on Geonosis 75018 JEK-14's Stealth Starfighter 75019 AT-TE 75020 Jabba's Sail Barge 75021 Republic Gunship 75022 Mandalorian Speeder Its from Brickset Thanks for the information nrg! I'm gad that there is atleast a name for the Yoda Chronicles based set, but I'm still dissapointed that we didn't see an Imperial Shuttle. Hopefully this will turn out okay, but I think lego is going to have a very hard time selling this one as it will probally not be well-known since it's only going to appear in the Yoda Chronicles Shows.
Fives Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Duel on Geonosis sounds amazing! Hopefully it will have a new Dooku, Obi-Wan, Anakin and Yoda, all non-CW AOTC versions! Also, this wave seems to be AOTC centric overall.
nrg Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 What if , the Stealth Starfighter is from the upcoming all-new video game : STAR WARS 1313 ???
67mountie67 Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Are there any rumors on UCS sets or the May the 4th exclusives yet? And if not when do you think we will get word on them? As for the list of summer sets i for one am looking forward to most of them I had the old sail barge but managed to lose most of the pieces and I always wanted to get another Gunship and AT-TE all the other sets that they're doing I"m intrested in seeing how they acomplish them especially the remakes
commanderneyo Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 What if , the Stealth Starfighter is from the upcoming all-new video game : STAR WARS 1313 ??? To be honest, that's most likely what it'll be from, in my opinion.
CaptainCRO Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Wow, another Republic gunship and another AT-TE. I am excited to see how they improve them since 2008 versions were really good. I will probably get gunship since it's my favourite ship. I guess the figures will decide.
Kitfistonator Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 What if , the Stealth Starfighter is from the upcoming all-new video game : STAR WARS 1313 ??? It probably is, I tried a google search for it and nothing came up. That is the only logical explanation as 1313 will be released next year. Thanks for the list Nrg
Fighter of Frizzies Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I don't think we'll be getting a Desert Skiff or Sarlacc in this new Sail Barge, as we already got a set with the both of them this past year. I think he meant that a new barge would be comparatively bigger given the size of the recent skiff.
Spider-Man Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 What is the probability of Jango being included with the gunship? It would definitely help LEGO sell more since there was one released not too long ago, and Jango was obviously at the Battle of Geonosis so it wouldn't seem to crazy, especially if TLG included Mace in the set as well.
Duck Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Having a limited budget for brand new sets, I think 75000 Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas is the most likely one I'll buy - as I want to boost my clone army, and the plain trooper will really help with that! also, I dont have any Droidekas - so that set suits me all round!
jasbury Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 What if , the Stealth Starfighter is from the upcoming all-new video game : STAR WARS 1313 ??? Didn't think of that! It's possible, but the set was previously called "Yoda chronicles model". Unless that was a mistake. I personally would much rather it come from 1313. Thanks for the information nrg! If you want an imperial shuttle, I'd get the one that's currently in stock. It's going to be discontinued soon, and it probably won't be replaced for a few years. Besides, I don't think It can get much better than the current design.
DarthPotato Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 What is the probability of Jango being included with the gunship? It would definitely help LEGO sell more since there was one released not too long ago, and Jango was obviously at the Battle of Geonosis so it wouldn't seem to crazy, especially if TLG included Mace in the set as well. If you add in Mace with Jango, I could see that being very possible. If Jango's not in that set then I could see them adding in some droids for conflict, but it could be Mace vs. Jango with a Gunship coming in to pick Mace up. Now I'm really curious about this one...
TJMax957 Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Those new Attack of the Clones sets are sure to bring non-CW versions of some Jedi. Hopefully Aayla Secura, Luminara Unduli, Ki-Adi-Mundi, Shaak Ti, and maybe some new Jedi such as Adi Gallia or Coleman Trebor.

Pretty high I'd say. Based on the number of figures rumoured for both the AT-TE and Gunship I'm assuming the minifigure line up will be similar to last time, only substituting TCW characters with AOTC ones (ex. Jango instead of Ventress, Padme instead of Ahsoka, Mace or some other Jedi instead of Plo Koon)
Super Brick Collector Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 This summer sets are looking promising. Jango should definitely be available in one of those sets coming out next summer. Or maybe he'll be in a exclusive set.
