TheBrickDaddy Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Just noticed on the mini Tie Bomber- the engine pieces for both of the 'pods' that make up the body of the ship are the new astromech droid head piece in light bley! It's the one that is the new head of the astromechs in last winter's X-wing, Y-wing, and TIE fighter
Pumpkin Pie Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 If you check the second page of this Star Wars section, you'll find a review of the A-Wing set that indicates, the pilot does have back printing. Thank you @Hawkman. I did read that review today and thanks for pointing me to it.
Snowspeeder Pilot Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I just bought 75002 AT-RT and 75003 A-Wing Starfighter from my local Toys R Us (Calexico, California). I was waiting for them but I January not now.
BlauUmlaut Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I just bought 75002 AT-RT and 75003 A-Wing Starfighter from my local Toys R Us (Calexico, California). I was waiting for them but I January not now. May I ask what you paid for either of them? I found the ATRT for 19.99 through Amazon. Rancor Pit for 59.99 also through Amazon. Blau
GRogall Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 (edited) not sur if HR image of the Battle of Hoth has been post but here it is! Enjoy! Edited December 17, 2012 by GRogall
Kez Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 ^ There is some HR images of it now thanks to you
hachiroku Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Why Lego? Why? Please, change the Snowspeeder. It´s the same model since 1999 and it´s not great model.
Another Brick In The Wall Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I never could understand TLG's compulsion to add speeder bikes in scenes that are foreign to them -- on Tatooine, on multiple Hoth sets, I just don't get it
GRogall Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 (edited) My BS gallery has cleared with lots more pics! Enjoy! :classic: Please don't post HR images from my BS gallery directly here the mods get upset! Edited December 17, 2012 by GRogall
Kez Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 ^ Your picture has the slightly newer updated version of that box art, my picture of it is the old one
Snowspeeder Pilot Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 May I ask what you paid for either of them? I found the ATRT for 19.99 through Amazon. Rancor Pit for 59.99 also through Amazon. Blau AT-RT $22.99 A-Wing $27.99 Hope this helps!
Golem25 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I see someone already did a sort-of review of 75003. The pictures for my review are still uploading on Brickshelf, but I figure I'll go ahead and write one when they're done.
The_Chosen_1 Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 I love all of the minifigures in the Battle of Hoth set!
Zzz Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Thanks for the picture! The 2 Lukes are still strange. Snowtroopers have new torso, argh... I hate it when they renew a figure so shortly after the battlepacks. (SS pilot, Hoth Officer, Stormie and now Snowie) Why Lego? Why? Please, change the Snowspeeder. It´s the same model since 1999 and it´s not great model. 2004 but it's indeed not great. I never could understand TLG's compulsion to add speeder bikes in scenes that are foreign to them -- on Tatooine, on multiple Hoth sets, I just don't get it They have few pieces and add the play feature for little kids. The sets are not meant to be entirely accurate. It's annoying though, I agree. Better one more minifig. I believe we all have at least half a dozen of Snow-speederbikes now and they were never in the movies at all.
Pumpkin Pie Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Thank you @GRogall! Those pictures are awesome!
67mountie67 Posted December 18, 2012 Posted December 18, 2012 I'm loving that Hoth set more and more as I keep looking at it can't wait to get it General Reikann is a great addition it will defeniently add depth to my Hoth display
DarthR2-D2 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Thanks for the picture! The 2 Lukes are still strange. Snowtroopers have new torso, argh... I hate it when they renew a figure so shortly after the battlepacks. (SS pilot, Hoth Officer, Stormie and now Snowie) Are there actually two Lukes in this set?
HawkLord Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I'm surprised that they don't count the Probe Droid as a figure. I mean, they counted the B'omarr Monk as one. Still I might have to get this to fill out my Hoth stuff and for the Rieken, but when I do it'll have to be on sale or something. Not a top priority.
AudiBobaR5-D2 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 I too have bought set 75003 from Amazon, but again need to wait until January to actually have the set. So not long now to wait. If you are wondering, it cost me £24.99, quite reasonable price
jmagaletta Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Do we know whether the summer wave AT-TE and RGS will be EP II or III. Personally I am hoping for EP III. Just please oh please not CW
nrg Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Do we know whether the summer wave AT-TE and RGS will be EP II or III. Personally I am hoping for EP III. Just please oh please not CW I assume , the Spider Droid and RGS is EPII and Tank Droid and AT-TE is EP III .
Fives Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 The reason there are two Luke figs in the out if box pic is to show his two face expressions. One has the orange visor, and one doesn't.
DarthR2-D2 Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Somebody riddle me this: Is the Yoda in the AT-RT new? If so, how is he new?
Ceroknight Posted December 19, 2012 Posted December 19, 2012 Somebody riddle me this: Is the Yoda in the AT-RT new? If so, how is he new? New torso I think
