BZE is probably the worst MOS set. I might buy a set like Aquaman On Ice, or that City set with McCain in instead. I don't get what's so bad about Metropolis Showdown, the car is quite well designed, and the colours are ok. Much better than the small Iron Man set.

How about a Injustice Lego Game?

The only problem is, having all those characters in microform will just be torture. Like the Nightwing and Batgirl microfigure

Now, about CC minifigures. I'm fine with figs like the Batman and the Iron Man and Cpt America. I just don't like it when characters such as Hal Jordan, Cpt Marvel, Bizzaro, and Pheonix are exclusive. These could all be made into sets, maybe even lines. I don't really get why Lego doesn't do this, surely they would make more money than producing 125, then giving them away for free, so they can circulate around Bricklink and eBay for hundreds, or sometimes thousands.

Agreed. I really want Bizzaro and Green Lantern but can't afford such astronomical prices to buy them. Especially GL, he's a major JL character, why LEGO, WHY!?

If I'm not mistaken; that Green Lantern was based on the movie version. I guess he'll make an appearance like Aquaman did in a Batman set. Hopefully he'll come with Sinestro or something.

But I really do think that we'll get a Green Lantern and Flash in the end.

Good point, that would be awesome! A Black Hand would be cool as well. It's a clever idea that Lego has done before.

People are comparing Mr Gold to CC figures. They are actually quite different. CC figures are free, and the recievers know they are getting the figure. Mr Gold costs, and is much harder to get, although there are more in the world.

LEGO and the Iron Man Facebook pages both just posted about those posters we saw. The Iron Man page says they're in the sets?! Not fair if this is true.

Check out the official Marvel’s Iron Man 3 theatrical posters in LEGO® form! These iconic characters are exclusive LEGO minifigure replicas found in LEGO Marvel Super Heroes sets based on the much-anticipated film hitting theaters on May 3rd! — Marvel's Iron Man 3 in LEGO® form

Perhaps this is just their way of telling us Iron Patriot is to appear at some point. So I can hope.

All they're saying is that there are IM3 sets with these minifigures in them. What do you mean "not fair if this is true"? Are you saying that it's unfair that they are implying that Iron Patriot is in the sets when he is not? I think it's very likely that they have no clue which minifigures exactly are in the sets, so I wouldn't put much weight on such a general statement that is obviously just meant to promote the movie and the sets.

I think everyone just needs to calm down about Iron Patriot and wait. Nick Fury was on the Avengers poster, and while we didn't get him in the first wave, we still got him soon after, so it's possible that Iron Patriot will be released in some form or another down the line. A Marvel Visual Dictionary is one possibility. I think there is enough material from the Spider-Man line and the Avengers, X-Men, and Ultimate Spider-Man sets to fill one half of the book with, and the other half they can fill with stuff from the videogame, just like they did with the Batman dictionary.

Good point, I suppose a virtual minifigure can have the same amount of coverage as a physical one.

IM3 comes out on the 24th here in NZ, so I presume the sets will be out soon. It's weird that our prices are much higher (Spidey Cycle equivalent of $42.5us!), and we get sets much later, when they proved they could launch sets at the same time as the US with the Hobbit sets.

The way I read the post was that LEGO was putting the posters in sets. I'm not raging about Iron Patriot yet.

That would actually be a good idea. BIONICLE's Bohrok Va came with the A4 instruction page, with a poster on the other side. I think a set came with a poster recently, but I cannot remember what it was called.

EDIT: Is this fan-made?

Possibly... But I hope not. Looks good though!

Well, even in that case it wouldn't be unfair since you can just print those out.

The TMNT set instructions come with the same poster that you get at TRU (just a little smaller I think), and some of the LotR/Hobbit sets do too, I believe.

And yes, that's fan-made. You can tell by the weird yellow color and the pose. And it has been posted about a million times already, so please stop!

Derpy. I'm quite new to the theme and the thread, so I'm sorry.

One thing that could be interesting is that the Cpt Murica and Iron Man Ultrabuilds can form an Iron Patriot Ultrabuild. It just shows they've been thinking about him.

True, but I already have all three sets.

Is it that hard to download a poster and print it out?

I'm a bit OCD when it comes to that type of thing. I like everything to be from LEGO.

The Lego cache should have it, no? And how expensive will a sheet of paper be on Bricklink?

Yeah you do have a point. But at that point I'd just buy it from Bricklink.

A new Superman Trailer was released (Man of Steel Trailer 3) that shows General Zod, wearing the armor and some of the sets look alike machines, and after pausing the trailer I have to say that the Battle of Smallville ship should have been a bit bigger XD...

Hey, that kind of thing is expected. Look at the Lego Batcave, a great example. Or Ninjago's Ultra Sonic Raider, meant to seat three, it only seats one!

Lego gotta slow down their use of that hair they give all their superhero themed ladies. It's rarely accurate and getting very repetative.

Better alternative:

Alternatively this, but it coveres up the nice torso so it's not as great. But it fits with how her hair is in the movie sometimes aswell:

^ Good Idea! I actually thought it was Black Window when I first though the figure, as it was a stand-alone image on Brickapedia.

Any news on the Redbird Cycle?

Edited by Devorath

Agreed on that hair piece, TLG should have been nice and given us an accurate new one for Black Widow and given Lois something more accurate. What exactly is a Redbird Cycle? Robin has a motorcycle? Or someone else?

EDIT: Looked it up, how is TLG fitting a model of that in a poly!? It better come with Robin. . .

Edited by The_Creator

I'm turning Lois into her comics version, just putting black hair on her.
