ghostmind Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 It will likely be the Palace Cinema, which has not yet been officially announced. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 I've got a feeling James Badge Dale's Eric Savin will be the equivalent of Mallen( terrorist that got injected with Extremis and beat the crap outa Tony) in the film. That being said Eric Savin may come in the Extremis set with Aldrich, War Machine, and Iron Man. Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted January 14, 2013 Posted January 14, 2013 (edited) Just went on the dutch site again and the Mansion is listed as 39,99 and Extremis/Harbor Battle as 14,99. Could work with the aforementioned descriptions. The Smallville and Metropolis sets are also listed both as 44.99€. http://www.brickshop...per-heroes.html The announcement is surely nothing superhero related. On conventions they only announce S@H sets with 10??? numbers and there are currently three of those from other themes that are awaiting official announcements. For some reason, that same site says that 76007 Marvel Superheroes Set 4 and 76006 Iron Man Extremis are expected "January 15th, 2013," which is tomorrow? Quote

An error on the website's part, probably thought they would come out with the rest of the winter wave. I guess the Sea Port will be $ 13 in the US. There for it'll include some crates of Extremis and a dock, Iron Man, War Machine(Mark II) and Aldrich Killian( or Eric Savin). Malibu- $40- a small version of the Mansion, most likely the part over the cliff, under it a small version of Stark's lab with a sticker version of the Hall, and a helicopter. Tony, Iron Man, Pepper, Eric Savin( or Mandarin/ Ten Rings Terrorist) Iron Man vs Mandarin- $ 60-75 the set Cheadle talked about, so I don't know, a big arena? Iron Man, War Machine, Rescue, Mandarin, Ten Rings henchman/ Eric Savin. Edited January 14, 2013 by Neville longbottem Quote

Darth Wayne Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 Dang, so much for a gorgeous mansion/ hall of armors :( Quote
deskp Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 That sucks, they are small sets. Looks like the hall of armour is gonna be a sticker. Instead they'll just make one armor display for the one that comes in the set If we're lucky they'll add 2 empty ones you can fill with the avengers figures. Quote

It's either empty containers with stickers for the suits, or a long stickered panel. I hope for empty containers. Those be pics of War Machine confirm that it's real. Some of that printing looks out of place, like the 002, the FF under the reactor, the printing on the shoulder blades, makes me think he's supposed to have arm printing. DJ Bricks Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 There might not even be one, of course. I highly doubt they'll make the Malibu Mansion without Stark's workshop. And I think if the have his workshop, they'll have to have something resembling the Hall of Armor( it explodes in the trailer, they'd have to be stupid not to include that as a play feature). Quote
Lance Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 (edited) I had an idea for the Malibu Mansion. Maybe when you push in a button, parts of the mansion fly off. Areas that 'explode' could include: The windows, roof sections, and parts of the armory. Also I think there should be at least one suit on display. I'd hate to think it would be a sticker... War Machine looks very good, but I think I'll hold out until the real set releases. Edited January 15, 2013 by Lance Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 War Machine could come in two sets. I see him coming in: 76006 Iron Man: Extremis Sea Port ( Mark II, which is what we have pics of) And 76008 Iron Man vs. The Mandarin: Ultimate Battle (Sounds like the final showdown, War Machine will probably be there, in his Iron Patriot armour)l. Or Lego might see an oportunity to make more money. They could easily at a later date release a Hall of Armour set that could give us the HoA we'd all want, and have it built so it could join up with the Malibu Mansion set, similar to the Rancor Pit and Jabba's Palace. I'd rather this than a lackluster mini HoA with stickers. Quote

I know its doubtful. Hopefully it will include a few suits at least 2. I would rather they leave out the mark 47, as we will no doubt already get 2 of them. Quote

I'd rather this than a lackluster mini HoA with stickers. They will porbably make more sets based on the Mansion and have it be add-ons. Unfortunatly, a lackluster mini HoA with stickers and maybe pedastles is all we're going to get. Or maybe release a best of type set with the hall of armor. See as Iron Man is going to be in all three set, there probobly going to have all of the Mark 42, even the Malibu Mansion( watch the trailer, it winds up at the bottem of the ocean). if you don't like that, then you going to love the MoS sets, which will all have Supes in the Man of Steel outfit. Quote
RaincloudDustbin Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 LEGO tend to re-use the stuff they've made already hence give us the 2 suits we already own and one more which is included in the set. They may give us an extra space though which would be essential. Quote

Ye I know but that's what I would rather have. Only a few weeks away from February toyfair, so I guess we will find out then. LEGO could still surprise they have before. Quote

Best we' get is pics of the stalls and only descriptions of the sets and minifigs in the set( unless Marvel has a plot issue and parts of the sets and minifigs are missing, ala The Avengers sets) Quote
TheLegoDr Posted January 15, 2013 Posted January 15, 2013 One could simply build their own hall of armor with stalls if the set does indeed only give a sticker. And War Machine looks pretty decent, but I can easily wait until the official sets since I will be getting them all anyway. And since I only own the Cosmic Cube Escape armor, I would imagine everything will basically be new to me. Quote
Zzz Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 Regarding the Malibu Mansion, I am afraid we cannot expect too much for €40. Currently 6873 Spiderman/Doc Ock sells for that price, not even 300 pieces. It's probably only a few walls and minifigs. Would love to see a €120 set from the mansion, like Arkham, but it's not supposed to be. Quote

Would love to see a €120 set from the mansion, like Arkham, but it's not supposed to be. Here in America, Doc Ock is priced accurately at $30, so yeah. The mansion will probably be 280 - 390 pieces, 4-5 minifigs( I think Tony, Pepper, Mark 42 Iron Man, and Eric Savin). A helicopter, the mansion, something either like the Helicarrier or like the Funhouse. Something with walls, blow up features, the Stark lab with a crapy HoA. Quote
hockeyboy89 Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 For 30.00 US, it'll have less than that I'm affraid. Quote
