stinks they can't get the rights back. I hope you're right about them renewing the contract. I hope they start making more sets than the 6 DC 6 marvel they seem to be making.

I'm positive they will renew the contract. LEGO most likely only paid for Three years because they weren't sure if the theme was going to sell well. We're only a year in and it seems to be doing great. The only thing that limits it IMO is the release schedule of sets.

I'm positive that this line will continue on just like Star Wars has.

The superman and iron man sets are going to be launching in April according to the Argos catalogue

The Superman sets will be refreshing in terms of the DC sets. Getting tired of the Batman overload. Sure, we got Superman and Wonder Woman in the earlier sets, and Aquaman more recently, but Batman has been dominating the market.

I think the binoculors on the gun makes it look more like the movie.

Well I think we'll get Thor: The Dark World sets. So maybe the sets will be more.

It's to early to hear any news about the new thor sets because the movie comes out on november so we might have to wait a bit for any confimation about the theme.

Just saw the ultimate spiderman episode when they capture Dr. Doom and bring him back to the S.H.I.E.L.D helicarrier and he attacks them with his doom bots. They should release a set with the helicarier (like the malvolence) a few rooms with the minifigs of Nick Fury, Spiderman, Luke Cage, Tiger, 2 shield agents and Dr.Doom and add in another villain. It probably would have a £100 price tag.

I'd love to see a helicarrier! I also want an Avengers mansion... I haven't watched a lot of USM (ultimate spiderman) is the mansion ever featured?

No, the other heroes are just feature camoes. The main places are the Heilicarrier( which was destroyed in the seaon finale) , Midtown High, and Aunt May's house.

We only see spring an summer sets at the Toy Fairs. We might see a little hint at possible Thor: The Dark World sets ala The Hobbit hint we got last year.

I think they where trying make his suit more dark, realistic, and armored look to his suit. The suit designer said that they removed the red underwear cuz they where human and not alien, which they were focusing on.

I HATED the suit when I first saw it, but it has grown on me.

Speaking of which, The Luthor Set was very much one of my favourites and I am very, very much looking forward to adding mor Superman villains to my collection. Though I still dislike his new costume. It's not so much the no pants, its just there is nothing to break up the blue at all around the waist area. Just makes him look like he's wearing a onesie or whatever you want to call them. It might make his figure look a bit silly too.

Well I'm in Minnisota and it's like -40 .

As we normally get pics of outside stall. I predict on the DC stall will have MoS Superman and General Zod( in his standard outfit) and Marvel wil have Iron Man(Mark 42), War Machine(Iron Patriot), and The Mandarin.

With War Machine, we will get to see if he has his shoulder gun( which i'm sure he will). A few posts up, i was able to create his gun with the Iron Man helmet on.

I think Man of Steel Superman looks good.

The Lego version might have a new hairpiece, as he doesn't have the curl in images, so he might use Robin's hair( which is accurate to images). His face would be changed to resemble Henry Cavill's face, torso, arms and pants would be earth blue, and printed with the suit from the movie. His cape would be red.
