Jackattack7 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Jackattack7, How about Malibu Mansion? He didn't get much of a look of it, but around the fun house size he reckons. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 He didn't get much of a look of it, but around the fun house size he reckons. Does he remeber what the figure in the Extremis looked like? Did it he look like this http://i2.cdnds.net/12/43/618x316/iron_man_3_trailer_05.jpg http://noble-press.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/iron_man_3_trailer_10.png and really hope the two redheads Lois and Pepper don't look the same and have the same hair piece and face design. Yeap both pics are of Guy Pearce's Aldrich Killian, the only pics of him we have. Does War Machine have his shoulder gun? my guess Extremis- Aldrich Killian Mansion- Eric savin and The Mandarin( does he get guns at least) Mandarin -The Mandarin Quote
Spider-Man Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 The lack of rings doesn't surprise me for one second, however if there really is no Iron Patriot I would be extremely shocked. Quote

I hope he's in the IM vs Mandarin, that would be a selling point, or Rescue( if rumors are true). I highly doubt Marvel wouldn't let Lego make an Iron Patriot figure. Quote

Aren't the usually CGI pictures of the figures outside the stalls to designate the stalls? We normally get pics of those or is there nothing on them this year? Sam892 Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 My guess is that Iron Patriot was absent from the last set as its most likely a big spoiler. What ever his role is in the battle could easily be given away. Much like how Hawkeye was spoiled in the avengers. Both sets he came in it was clear he was under Loki's control. If he's not in the last set then I'm guessing he will be either a comic con Exculsive or a promo like Hulk was last year. Hopefully over the two a store Promo. I have no problem spending £25 on a set to get him. I'll won't be getting all the sets straight of the bat. Quote
Repeter Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Out of all these sets, I think I am only really into the Mandarin, Pepper Potts, Zod and Lois Lane. I don't even really know who the rest of them are. I've seen pics of Iron Patriot for years on the interwebs and always assumed it was a joke. Man, I'm old. Quote

CorneliusMurdock Posted January 22, 2013 Author Posted January 22, 2013 76008 - No set name but it includes a minifig called Ironman Heartbreaker Rescue? Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Rescue? I thought it was a weird name for an Iron Man suit, but as he's built 42 suits, i can guess there's one for that. Either that or it's a code name, waiting for Brickset to confirm it. Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I am pretty happy with those minifigure line ups and prices, myself. I will still wait to see the sets before I make up my mind on getting any though. Did anyone else notice than on Brickfantatics' report, the Batman boardgame includes a Batgirl microfigure? I am pretty excited for that, ( ) especially if it is foreshadowing a full-out minifigure in 2014! (The Harry Potter game gives me doubts though, but I guess that the Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw students weren't actual characters.... ) Quote

And the green bad guy in the Mansion( which i'm sure is Eric Savin). I hope for a Batgirl in 2014 too, along with Lantern, Flash, and Manhunter plus some of their rouges gallery. The three heroes are going to be featured in the 2015 JL film, and i would like comic versions before the film versions (like Lego's not going to make sets based on the film, DC will make them do it) Quote
Bobstapwns Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 The MOS sets sound very neat and I'll probably end up buying them. :3 On the other hand, the Batman game sounds pretty nice. It'll be the only LEGO game I'll ever buy. Quote
Piranha Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 Thanks for the report information, some of it is very interesting. I am still hoping we get Rescue, Iron Patriot and Firepower in a mechanized suit like in the comics, but that is doubtful. But it is possible TLG is holding one out for a promo polybag if you spend x amount, but I was hoping that would be a chrome Mark II. If the prices are correct we can buy all the IM3 sets for about $75, which sounds great to me. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 via brick heroes 76003 Battle of Smalville Superman, Col. Hardy, Faora, General Zod, and Tor-An Quote
Navy Trooper Fenson Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) FBTB has it´s own article finally up: http://www.fbtb.net/...3-super-heroes/ Basically: Extremis is 20 bucks and has got Aldrich Killian, regular Warmachine and Iron Man Ultimate Battle Iron Man v.s. Mandarin includes only those two figs. Nothing about Iron Man Heartbreaker. Nothing new to say about Malibu Mansion. 76002 has Supes and Zod for 12 Pound 76009 has Supes and Zod and Lois for 20 Pounds 76003 has Supes and Zod, Hardy, Faora and Lovan (probably the Tor-An from brickheroes above, the FBTB guy said he couldn´t read the note he made) No descriptions of the actual models and every set includes Zod. Hooray for the guy who only wanted to have Zod. So it seems there won´t be any Iron Patriot, so excuse me for my corner crying session. Edited January 22, 2013 by Navy Trooper Fenson Quote
just2good Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 (edited) From FBTB: Released in April … for the Iron Man 3 film … each set recreates a major scene from the movies … 76006 as yet unamed … includes figures Iron Man, War Machine (yes, the picture looked like the leaked picture we’ve seen on this forum!) and Aldrich Killian. Price Point is £19.99. 76007 as yet unamed … includes figures Tony Stark, Pepper Potts (exclusive to that set), Mk42 Iron Man, The Mandarin and another, as yet unamed, figure! Price Point is £34.99 76998 as yet unamed … includes an exclusive Iron Man and The Mandarin. That’s all I noted down. Price point is £11.99. Released in May … for the Superman Man of Steel film … again, each set recreated major scenes from the movies … 76002 as yet unamed … includes Superman and General Zod minifigures. Price point £11.99. 76003 as yet unamed … includes Superman, Colonel Hardy, General Zod, Faora and another figure perhaps, but I can’t read my own handwriting … maybe Lorvan?! Price Point £39.99 76009 as yet unamed … includes an exclusive Louis Lane, Superman and General Zod. Price point £19.99. Edited January 22, 2013 by just2good Quote
SoupOrFishOil Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 I'll probably get that Black Zero set for Lois and Zod, maybe the Smallville set if it is decent. I'm still waiting for pictures for Iron Man, though. Quote
The_Chosen_1 Posted January 23, 2013 Posted January 23, 2013 While I'm sad that we're only getting movie-related sets this summer, it does sound like a fantastic wave. And surprisingly affordable, too. Quote
