deskp Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) That one looks more like the 42 but I wish we got more gold, maybe gold arms.. This figure should have been all gold with the red parts printed on.. The designer is proapbly too narrow minded to accept that this ironman suit is gold with red on it, instead of red with gold on it like it normally is. The printing is nice but compared to the source material it could have been so much better. Tobias_Jay Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) Thank you Krulis. They look somehow better side-by-side. I will definatly try to get these when they come out. I hope pictures of the sets will rise from Nuremburg. Edited January 31, 2013 by Wall E2624 Quote
Dr Axels Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 I don't get why 1 fig would have the blue eyes and chest piece and the other wouldn't. Quote

Dr Axels Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Watch the movie, you'll see. Yea, I'm sure it'll be explained there. I just hope the Mandarin minifig gets revealed next. Or at least that mystery green guy that is suppose to be in one of the IM3 sets. I've seen all I've needed to for Man of Steel. Quote

DJ Bricks Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Well seeing as the suit is supposed tan with a little red in it it that suit is inaccurate. IronManMkXLII.jpg But i guss the designer only had concept art to work on so we get it as red with a little gold in it(not tan). But it still looks cool. Quote

Jackattack7 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 (edited) here is a bit better pic: The one on the left is the heartbreaker. Edited January 31, 2013 by Jackattack7 Quote
RaincloudDustbin Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 The one on the left is the heartbreaker. . Proof? Quote
Jackattack7 Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 . Proof? If you look on brickipedia, the mark 42 is in the Malibu mansion and extremis sets and the heartbreaker is in the mandarin battle set. Also look at the pics of the mark 42, and ask Daniel gourhan22 ( he knows a lot.) Quote
Crownie Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 As an aside, could anyone who owns the new Daily Bugle set tell me if the sticker sheet comes curled up, or packaged with a cardboard backer? Sometimes knowing this info helps me to determine just how long I should wait before opening a set. I figure the longer sticker sheets are in their curled position the worse off they'll be when applied. As far as I'm concerned, if TLG is going to put stickers in a set, they should always be packaged with a cardboard backer. Quote

My Bugle, i got it a few weeks ago, and the sticker was out of a cardboard thing. Luckly mine wasn't even curled a little bit, i was so happy!!!! Quote

Had to set them under a stack of books for awhile to get them unfurled They looked fine after that though. Quote

As we have no idea what variant is in the Extremis set, the suit on the left could come in that. Unless your friend remembers what suit comes in the Extremis set(i know it's been a week. Quote
Kez Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Anybody know if there's any super heroes set images from Nuremberg yet (if not there's always the American toyfair) Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 Anybody know if there's any super heroes set images from Nuremberg yet (if not there's always the American toyfair) Given that most people go to the fair , take pics and the wait util they're at their own home to upload, with the Nurenberg we normally get sparse pics while it's going on and a an enormous amount after the fair is over. I don't know about pics for the superheroes, we didn't get any for the avengers last year( as i remember, to avoid movie spoilers) so the may have a photo restriction on the MoS and IM3 sets. Quote
DJ Bricks Posted January 31, 2013 Posted January 31, 2013 ^ Cheers yeah, i hope for someone to get pics of the SH sets. Maybe we might learn who the green guy is(unlikely though) Quote
